I've been thinking long and hard about this review, as much as I didn't want to drop stars I've had too. There's room for a fair amount of improvement.
My stay was a week long and I have experienced most of the aspects of this hotel. So I will provide a comprehensive breakdown of each section.

Reception: 5*
All the receptionist were polite, friendly, approachable and made my stay enjoyable. I couldn't fault this as I felt like I was part of a family.
The porters were always ready to help and anything you need, you can go to them.
Absolutely fantastic. I have no fault with the service they are providing.

Room: 3.5*
The original room had an awful smell. I spoke with the receptionist the next morning and the hotel GM introduced himself to me which was very polite and courteous of him. Afterwards they immediately found me another room. The room wasn't ready only because the hotel wanted to make sure I was happy before accepting.
The smell of the room was much more pleasing. Only downfalls was the toilet didn't have a bidet and for the life of me I could not understand the entire black theme they had going on! Sitting on the toilet felt like going into the batcave!! ????????
The WiFi in the room was a hit and miss. On the Saturday the WiFi was non existent.
The beds are huge and very comfortable. Invest in upholstered headboards, several times I hit my head against the wooden ones you currently have.
Bathroom facilities were wonderful with rainfall shower and handheld available. Couple of errors that can be overlooked but housekeeping needs to make sure all items are ready for the next guest.
The noise of traffic honestly can be really rediculous at times!
Perhaps this can be addressed?
Overall my second room was good but theres room for improvements.

Spa: 4*
Zora the manager is a absolute darling. She made me feel comfortable and explained what the spa was offering. She didn't push me into making any purchases. I booked Hammams in two other places as I wanted to experience the cheap to the medium to luxury in stages. So I was happy to book with Zora to experience the luxury Hammam at the hotel.
Facial was good.
But please invest in a steamer to remove blackheads and other impurities. As this was quite painful.
Need to invest in equipment, otherwise I would definitely come back for Zora and the Hammam as it was just pure bliss!

Restaurant 3*
This was a hard one to review as I've had some fantastic experiences and not so great ones too. Except for breakfast the times I dined in the restaurant it was fairly empty.
Oumayma is an excellent hostess. Very genuine, friendly, approachable and likeable. Keep up the great work.
Saleh is a very hard worker without a doubt.
The food was a hit and miss for me.
Breakfast was really good. Suggestions: Provide healthier options.
Dinner the chicken caesar, the first soup (think it was veg), and the tiramisu I had were outstanding.
Issues were managed promptly and professionally by management. Which is great to see.
The management are aware of the improvements that needs to be made and I hope they make those.

Overall view of the hotel. The swimming pool looks dated and screaming for a refurb. Water cold and can't even go for a swim. Expected a heated pool from a 4* establishment.
Sky bar non existent during my whole stay! What sky bar!!! ????
I don't understand why you don't have a gym in a 4* establishment.
The black and white theme I understand but a fair amount of furniture in the rooms and around the hotel look dated and scream cheap!
Instead of creating a warm open space, the colours are doing the complete opposite.
Black WC are a no, no!
Bring in textures. Bring in natural elements. Bring in the richness of your country. This can be achieved within your colour palette you've decided and still be a beautiful Boutique Hotel.

Ipossible I may return to see if any improvement
