Ce petit havre de paix est isolé sur la langue de sable entre océan et lagune, à l'écart du centre. Six bungalows thématiques (japonais, chinois, zèbre...) sont plantés entre les cocotiers, abordables et simples, mais confortables. Le salon avec piano et bibliothèque fait honneur aux arts africains. Terrasse surplombant la lagune. Le resto-plage sert de délicieuses spécialités comme le filet de poisson aux pois chiches et des bananes caramélisées. Son atout : sa grande piscine à l'eau de mer et sa plage isolée. Bateau à pédales, canoé, balade en bateau...

Joli cadre mais les plats servis au restaurant sont de qualité moyenne, de quantité insuffisante et beaucoup trop chers.
Même pas de cocktail sur la carte.
Personnel lymphatique.
La plage n'est même pas nettoyée.

Room prices change on week nights and weekends. I paid 40,000cfa for a Sunday night, 5,000cfa for breakfast (per person), and 5,000cfa to use a canoe (paid per person). The place is directly on the lagoon and has a nice sandy waterfront and a dock (kinda old but at least it’s there!) that’s nice to sit on and go fishing.
Now, the most tragic thing did happen though. The morning of my arrival (I arrived in the evening), the ocean wiped away their ocean side of the property! The pool and restaurant is gone (but they still served an awesome breakfast: pot of coffee/tea/hot chocolate, banquette, hot croissant, local jams, fresh fruit, and fresh fruit juice). But fortunately the lagoon side is safely untouched! Also, this place is a bit “off road” to get to. We spent about 15-20 minutes on bumpy roads and arrived there by taxi. When we wanted to leave, taxis couldn’t come get us out there, but the staff were really helpful in finding us a local taxi that brought us to Restaurant Assoyam where
where we could then call a Yango (and have a drink or two while waiting).
I really want to see more people go enjoy this beautiful place. They need the support of clients, especially after the ocean wiped out half of their property, so I hope you’ll go stay there!
