Che dire se non wow, abbiamo cenato in terrazza, panorama mozzafiato. Chef giovane e brillante, accoglienza ottima. Abbiamo cenato a la carte , porzioni abbondanti, sapori unici e un trattamento della materia prima incredibile. Buona scelta dei vini.

Ci siamo trovati benissimo location super e cibo che rivaluta il territorio come non mai.

Location spettacolare. Menu degustazione molto buono e particolare. Assolutamente da provare. Personale gentile, ambiente elegante e bellissima vista sul mare. Consiglio vivamente.

Esperienza culinaria fantastica. Ho optato per un aperitivo accompagnato da finger food e degustazioni di varie portate. Cocktail con base di Zacapa di alto livello e perfettamente bilanciati. Portate con ingredienti di primissima qualità e sapori ben distinti. Chiusura con Zacapa XO in purezza e dolce al piatto semplicemente fantastico.

Il cibo non è niente di che, il servizio peggio ancora, meglio che ti vai a mangiare una pizza, questo ristorante è una pagliacciata

Can’t believe we paid 300€/per for a tragedy. The food was totally destroyed our evening. Chef may try to show up his skills but the dishes were not good to eat at all. The service was correct. All tables are inside. We tried other neighbor restaurants after, they all better than this one.

Scoperto 2 anni fa, mi aveva stupito sia per il servizio che per il cibo. Quest’anno tornandoci mi aspettavo lo stesso servizio, invece ne sono uscito veramente deluso. La cameriera ha sbagliato l’antipasto che avevamo richiesto, segnalandole l’errore ha proposto di integrarlo con un’altro offerto da loro (e non di sostituirlo) arrivati al momento del conto ho notato che il piatto aggiuntivo proposto era presente …
Altra nota dolente è la mancanza di professionalità sempre della stessa cameriera che al momento della selezione del cocktail le ho chiesto un consiglio e lei ha iniziato a leggere tutti gli ingredienti presenti nella lista. servizio pessimo… peccato per il sommelier molto bravo e professionale.

Can’t believe Stanley Tucci recommended this place. There are a dozen or more regular restaurants that serve better food for half the price. Portofino definitely got the memo since there were only 2 other tables taken. The risotto was a huge disappointment. Practically swimming in pesto sauce and salty beyond reason. The lobster entree is more for for an appetizer. Didn’t even bother ordering desert. I can’t in good conscience recommend this place.

The food is very good here. However… the service is poor, they forgot some of what we had ordered until I reminded them, and is extremely overpriced. We dined at a time when most of the restaurants were in their mid-day break, and this was one of the fewest options we had to eat at.

Si j’aurais pu mettre zéro c’est ce que j’aurais mis comme note. Malheureusement, nous avons passé un très mauvais moment. Le personnel était très gentil, mais là Cuisine affreusement simple pour le prix excessivement cher. Très déçu de notre soirée. Restaurant à éviter.

Restaurant catastrophique le homard bleu est en réalité des pâtes à la tomate sans homard seulement quelques miettes au fond de l’assiette, après avoir lu l’addition nous avons eu la mauvaise surprise de lire que l’accompagnement était facturé 500 euros pour 5 assiettes de pâte à la tomate. Après avoir demander à parler au responsable ils ont quand même accepté de les retirer de l’addition. C’est la seul chose positive à retenir de ce restaurant.

High price, but worth the experience

DO NOT book this restaurant. I booked online for lunch for 2 people and had to give credit card details. I tried cancelling the table from 4 days prior and to put it simply - it was impossible. I could not cancel online - it told me to call. I then tried calling everyday, multiple times as did my hotel concierge and no one answered. They then called me bang on the time of my reservation to confirm if I was coming - I explained the situation and the grossly rude lady from the restaurant said it was ‘weird’ because someone always answers the phone. I then got charged the full cancellation fee. I will never, ever go to this restaurant nor recommend it. AVOID

Caution rip-off! Worst pizza we have ever eaten! For 26€ you can expect higher quality ingredients and not a frozen pizaza. The pasta was tasty good but for 48€ also a joke. Sure, the restaurant has one of the most beautiful views of Portofinio but that is unfortunately with price / performance absolutely not in proportion. On our criticism that we did not find the food good, got from the waitress as an answer an "oh okay".

Deludente, portate scarne e con gusti discutibili, spaghettata di vongole senza vongole, astice 10 gr pagati 95 euro e non era neanche un unghia, si paga il nome non l esperienza che è stata la peggiore in assoluta, sconsigliata al massimo, leggo tante recensioni positive.. Lasciate ad arte presumo in quanto se ne sente parlare malissimo e volevo testare di persona

Il cibo davvero non e' un granché sembra ci sia stato un tentativo riuscito male di proporre dei gusti nuovi che non in realtà non sono nulla buoni. Menu mal riuscito.

Let's delve into the unfortunate encounter with the risotto. As I eagerly anticipated a creamy and flavorful dish, what arrived at my table was far from what I had envisioned. The risotto had an overwhelming sour taste that permeated every bite. It was as if the chef had inadvertently mixed an excessive amount of vinegar or some other acidic ingredient into the dish. The acidity masked any delicate flavors that the risotto could have possessed, rendering it virtually inedible. It was a culinary misstep that left me questioning the competence and attention to detail in Cracco's kitchen.
What truly added insult to injury was the lackluster response from the staff. Despite bringing the issue to their attention, they appeared indifferent and unresponsive to my concerns. Rather than showing genuine concern or offering a solution, the staff merely shrugged off my complaint, leaving me feeling dismissed and unheard. It was a clear indication that customer satisfaction was not a priority for Cracco, further tarnishing the overall dining experience.
Given my experience with the sour risotto and the unhelpful staff at Cracco, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an enjoyable dining experience. When a dish as simple as risotto fails to deliver and the staff fails to take appropriate action, it raises serious doubts about the competence and professionalism of the establishment as a whole. Portofino offers a plethora of dining options that prioritize customer satisfaction and serve exceptional food. It would be wise to explore those alternatives rather than subject yourself to the disappointment that awaits at Cracco.

In 1982 I was invited to dine at Il Pitosforo, at the time didn't know that was the name of the tree inside the dining room. The food was to die for and I wish a can go back one day. The best wines and sea food you can ever ask for. As an Italian living outside of Italy, I was there serving my military duty and my visit here was one of the most memorable memories I have of my province.
