Die Lage, ca. 100 Meter vom Lago di Como entfernt war wirklich toll. Der Ort Lenno ist kein überlaufener Touristen Hotspot, so dass es sehr angenehm war. Das Zimmer war funktionionell eingerichtet, alles sehr sauber und völlig in Ordnung. Der Balkon zur Straßenseite hin, war klein aber fein, wir konnten zu zweit den Abend genießen. Sehr angenehm war auch dass man Frühstück und auch Abendessen auf der eigenen Terrasse unter großen Bäumen im Schatten genießen konnte. Das Frühstück war nicht von großer Auswahl, aber trotzdem ausreichend. Bei so wenigen Zimmern kann man auch kein großes Frühstücksbuffet erwarten. Die Lokation ist eine Art Gasthof, wo sich auch gern Einheimische treffen, so hat man das Gefühl einfach mittendrin zu sein. Das Personal war steht höflich und zuvorkommend.

Etwas kompliziert war die ständige Parkplatzsuche. Direkt am Hotel ist ein größerer Parkplatz, der kostenfrei genutzt werden kann. Jedoch werden keine Plätze für Hotelgäste freigehalten, jeder kann diesen öffentlichen Parkplatz nutzen. Daher ist dieser Parkplatz auch meist ausgefüllt und man muss sich auf die Suche begeben, meist landet man dann auf kostenpflichtigen Parkplätzen. Auch hatte man generell vom Hotel eine höhere Erwartungshaltung auf Grund der Präsentation im Netz, es ist alles einfach und funktionell.
Alles in allem waren wir jedoch zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt für 5 Nächte.

Cucina classica ma non solo. Tecnica ottima e sapori delicati, Carta dei vini simpatica e fruibile da tutti perché alle spalle c è una scelta saggia delle bottiglie(non solo il prezzo). Personale pronto e disponibile . Menù e allestimento curato e fine. Ottima scelta se passate dal lungo lago direzione Menaggio.

We were able to get a table without a reservation inside (which was fine, the room is decorated in a lovely way, only the music was quite loud). The only issue was that the waiters seemed to forget us. Our dishes waited, apparently fully prepared, on the counter until we asked for it.

The food tasted fine and there were some nice options. However, the portions were, even for primi piatti, quite small. Some ingredients mentioned on the menu were used sparsely (one olive for a dish described as „with olives“). And regarding the price, the meals were not as good as one might expect for this price range. One exception was the thyme creme dessert, which was excellent.
