Hôtel 3-étoiles proposant des chambres spacieuses et bien décorées à des prix raisonnables.
Cet hôtel 3-étoiles est logé dans une villa Art nouveau avec un jardin planté de palmiers qui séparent le lac d'une belle piscine. Le cadre est idyllique et princier. On reste volontiers à profiter de la piscine et du calme, tant l'endroit est accueillant. La vue de la terrasse qui donne sur le lac est juste sublime, en particulier le soir venu. Les prix sont franchement raisonnables pour ce niveau de standing. En basse saison, un nombre minimum de nuits est requis, trois souvent. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien décorées.

Hotel Villa Marie is located in Tremezzo and about a 10 minute walk from the port. When we arrived, we were greeted by such friendly staff & reception. You can tell they run this place which such love & care. The owner even gave us a glass of presence to wish us congratulations on our honeymoon :)
We had booked the deluxe room with lake view in mid September which was the perfect size! A gorgeous mini balcony to wake up to in the morning. Bedroom & bathroom were both spacious and we have copious amount of closet and drawer space. Despite it being a “older” hotel which we were a bit nervous about, the rooms are clean and very well maintained. They also provide guests with a room key with a unique key chain which is quite heavy so they encourage you to drop it off everytime you leave the hotel and pick it up at reception upon return. I personally love that special touch!
Each morning, we got to enjoy the continental breakfast downstairs in the terrace & breakfast room which had quite a bit of variety (croissants, yogurts, fruits, cured meats, scrambled eggs, toast, juice & coffee). The hotel has the most stunning front terrace & rooftop terrace for guests to enjoy. We unfortunately didn’t enjoy the pool since it was a bit cold or try the in house restaurant since we were always out & about Como but hopefully next time when we come back.
The wifi is a bit spotty at times which would be the only negative comment if we have to be picky. Overall, I’d say this is definitely the place to book if staying in Tremezzo. Not only will you be away from the hustle & bustle of tourists but you’ll be well taken care of at a fraction of the price compared to other 3/4 star hotels. Grazie!!! ❤️

I recommend staying here instead of Bellagio, Menaggio or Como. It's a lot more relaxing and peaceful.
It's easy to get to various villas and museums to visit.
There's a wonderful nearby park where you can swim and take beautiful romantic photographs.
Highly recommended and we will be back again!
