If you want a quality, quiet retreat away from the everyday, you should definitely consider this place. A 20+ minute uphill walk from Izeo station (if you have heavy luggage, be sure to take a cab or other means of transportation. If you have your own car, there is a free parking lot attached to the hotel for your convenience), and paradise was there. You are greeted with a friendly smile from the bright, classy staff.

When you go up to one of the several guest rooms on the second floor, the first thing that strikes you is how clean it is! I feel so bad about staining the pure white floors from the soles of my shoes that have been hiking the mountain paths. From what I hear, they are in the process of renovating the rooms. The sooner you get in now, the sooner you can enjoy the new room.

And when you open the window and step out onto the small terrace, you have a spectacular view of Lake Iseo in front of you! It is a panoramic view with Monte Isola to the right and the vast marshland to the left! You will be able to sip your wine while enjoying the view as it changes from dusk to night, then dawn and day.

In the evening, as I was visiting Izeo for the Franciacorta, the inn introduced me to an edition of MIRABELLA, which is affiliated with the inn and not available in Japan. It was a great tasting while watching the sunset!

Breakfast was also very good, and I wished I had two stomachs... It was a pity that dinner was not served on the outdoor terrace when I visited, but I would definitely like to experience it if it is reopened.

When I walked back down the mountain, I am so sad to leave that I cried a little. Thank you! I will definitely return.
