The food was mediocre, the wine was subpar, service was dismal, and to call the atmosphere off-putting would be an understatement.
We were charged for bread we didn't order (a commonality shared amongst other reviews), our dessert never arrived despite informing staff twice, and the service staff continued to hover and generally be off-putting.
The music in the establishment was horrific, featuring songs including extremely offensive wording in the presence of children as well as loud bass / drums interrupting what was to be a peaceful meal.
Our food was decent. Not good, not bad. Don't go in expecting a mind-blowing food experience (that can be found almost anywhere else locally)
After leaving, we were offered a 2024 calendar met with turned away eyes, almost out of shame as if the staff understood they had done a poor job.
Do not come here if you're expecting any glimpse of Italian dining. You'd have a better perspective going to ASK (in the UK).
Otherwise, going onto the Island was nice and when we were outside of the establishment it was a lovely area.
