Camere molto confortevoli con bel terrazzo. La nostra anche se non era fronte mare aveva comunque uno scorcio del golfo.
La vista dal roof garden è semplicemente stupenda.
Tutti gli ambienti sono d'epoca e confortevoli a partire dalla hall.
Ottima la cena che ci è stata servita in terrazza con un panorama mozzafiato.
Personale impeccabile e molto disponibile.
Parcheggio a pagamento nei pressi dell'hotel.
Ci tornerò volentieri.
Anche altri hanno avuto lo stesso trattamento.
Io penso, che dopo aver pagato 2 biglietti una cifra spropositata, un locale che si rispetti, debba almeno offrire una forma di rimborso equo.
Abbiamo con eleganza siamo andati via e provato in uno dei locali su via caracciolo che egregiamente hanno dimostrato il loro valore.
Per cui....
Mangiatevi una pizza dai tanti ristoratori a via caracciolo, non sarà "in" , ma sinceramente respirerete la vera aria di napoli..... l'accoglienza......
A hotel room is primarily for sleeping. It's too hot to sleep in mid-March. Two attempts to get it fixed, two failures. It's hotter in our room because the extractors of the other (apparently functioning?) air conditioners empty into the courtyard and heat the air coming into the windows of our room (no. 534 in case a review succeeds where all else has failed).
Not remotely as advertised in the online photos, either - there is *no* seating on the terrace. Frankly, if there was, I'd try sleeping there as the hotel is unable to provide sleeping quarters at appropriate temperatures for human beings.
Also, the glue holding the shower gels, shampoos, etc, to the wall keeps failing in the heat, so even if we do manage to doze off that'll wake us.
Absolutely not worth the price, a real shame because the beauty is there.

L’hotel Excelsior è da sempre una garanzia per l’organizzazione di raffinate ed eleganti ricorrenze. Non potevamo desiderare di passare una giornata migliore. Offre un’unica vista sul Vesuvio e sul castel dell’ovo. La vista sul mare dona una perfetta atmosfera.

Je ne peux terminer sans vous parlez du buffet du petit déjeuner... c'est probablement le plus beau et bon buffet que je connaisse. Et j'avoue que déguster ce buffet dans une salle de bal face au Vésuve ça vous fait oublier tout le reste !
