Beautiful views of spiaggia grande, incredibly fresh seafood and impressive wine selection. We go every summer and La Cambusa is consistently good!

Big prices small portions, tourist trap. Do not eat here, even if you're hungry! The pasta on my plate was about a quarter of what should have been on there, considering this is a cheap ingredient I was shocked.

DO NOT EAT HERE.. IF YOU CAN IMAGINE ME YELLING, do not waste your money here!! So not worth it. I received bread that I did not order (€3), (€3) for a “table/ cover” fee and the restaurant was not full at all! Now.. I ordered the Carbonara pasta by recommendation of a gentleman that worked there. The pasta was still crunchy! By far the worst meal I have had since being in Italy!

In the end my bill was €25 for pasta, water, and bread (that I did not order).

The restaurant is right on the beach so good views. We were sat outside and told the restaurant closed in 30 minutes so we felt a little rushed to eat. After we ate we went to a nearby gelato spot and could still see people inside eating an hour after we had already left.. so not sure why they decided to rush us out. Anyway- restaurant was mid. We ordered a pasta and it was just okay. Nothing out of the ordinary. Wouldn’t come back. The service was good but felt they were a bit rude. For the price you’re paying for these dishes I want good service and to feel like I’m being welcomed. Did not get that vibe at this restaurant.

La nourriture était ok mais le service était terrible terrible, les serveurs étaient vraiment pas professionnel, ils nous pressaient beaucoup pour finir, ils venaient nous voir tout les 10min. sur leur site c’était écrit « fermé à 23h » mais à 21:40 ils étaient déjà là pour nous dire qu’ils allaient fermer dans 5 à 10min ( alors qu’on était là ça faisait juste 1h , et je tiens à préciser qu’on avait commandé une bouteille de vin, une entrée et des plats principaux).
Sûrement pour ça que le restaurant était vide, il y avait que 3 tables occupé
Je ne recommande pas du tout ce restaurant

The food was good, I had the zucchini spaghetti to share with my toddler and my husband had the fish soup/stew. We sat outside and had a great view of the water and the plaza steps with some people watching.

I tried hard to like this restaurant but the food wasn’t that good. They didn’t make lasagna very well. I had the lobster pasta and it was disappointing. The view was nice though

Wollten für ein Getränk im Restaurant "La Cambusa" einkehren, leider haben wir das Restaurant nach ein paar Minuten wieder verlassen. Kellner sehr unfreundlich, wenn man etwas trinken will ist man anscheinend nicht erwünscht. Lage direkt am Strand verleitet anscheinend dazu, dass man die Gäste nicht mehr Wertschätzt!

Disappointing experience. Unfriendly service, despite available tables didn’t let us in. Eventually seated we ordered some antipasti and drinks. Mediocre taste and high price. Overall, it feels like a tourist trap relying solely on its location.

Pranzo da dimenticare!
Il luogo è molto frequentato vista la posizione, che risulta essere sicuramente l’unico punto positivo di questo ristorante.
Purtroppo i piatti non sono all’altezza del prezzo pagato, senza volersi aspettare qualcosa di magnifico, ma quantomeno mangiabile!
La pasta (€28 se non ricordo male) era completamente slegata, acquosa e quella parvenza di pesce che c’era non era un granché!Insomma un piatto pessimo anche se fosse stato pagato la metà!
La seconda portata, idem, il pesce era completamente senza sapore, le patate ne arrosto ne lesse, erano dolci e pappose, insalvabili anche queste! Presentazione del piatto pessima, sembravano avanzi, ma pagati a caro prezzo!
Pranzo pessimo sicuramente la posizione non merita una sosta qui! Sconsiglio vivamente!

Out of season empty restaurant didn't allow us to have a drink and go to bathroom at 12 pm , while everything else we saw was closed . So rude wouldn't recommend to deal with these people

Fue el único restaurante abierto en febrero en Positano, al pie de la playa con una vista maravillosa. La atención muy amable y el lugar muy normal, la decoración es simple pero con esa vista no necesitas mucho. La comida regular, la pasta estuvo bien pero el risotto me decepcionó. Me alegro luego el sorbete de limon!

Half of the tables were empty outside on a slow night. They did not let me stay for coffee and dessert, saying I had to order full dinner in order to stay.

We visit restaurant at 11:15 and stuff said that restaurant will be open at 12. Unfortunately at 12 they said that they need a other 15 minutes to open the restaurant. We saw that they were more busy to talk to each other and eat then to welcome guests. At least we drink and eat on nearby Positano Paradise - great pleace.

Ho avuto il piacere di cenare al Ristorante La Cambusa e sono rimasto particolarmente colpito. L'atmosfera era accogliente e romantica, perfetta per una giornata speciale. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, con il personale che si è dimostrato gentile, attento e sempre disponibile alle nostre richieste. Il menu era creativo e le porzioni abbondanti. La presentazione dei piatti era un'autentica opera d'arte. Gli ingredienti erano freschi e di alta qualità e il sapore era semplicemente delizioso. Consiglio vivamente il Ristorante La Cambusa a tutti gli amanti della cucina italiana autentica
