A Praiano, une halte au restaurant « Il Pirata » est pratiquement obligatoire. Comment ne pas succomber à ce lieu si particulier, tant par sa position que par son atmosphère intimiste ? A la fois lounge-bar et restaurant, il est agréable quelle que soit l’heure. Une zone solarium avec douche est à la disposition des clients. L’exotisme est omniprésent : la cuisine et le bar sont intégrés dans la grotte et les tables sont harmonieusement distribuées le long de la promenade du bord de mer. Y manger au rythme du ressac est une sensation forte, au romantisme assuré.

The stuff was nice and professional. We don’t have such a bad experience as the other guests in the reviews. ???? Food was delicious but be prepared for a smaller positions. ????♀️ amazing drinks ???? and the view and atmosphere is just perfect ???????????? but it’s a bit pricey. We paid 170 euro for two people for lunch. ????

We only stopped here for a short while and had a couple of drinks, the service was very excellent, the food served at other tables looked amazing, the view was fantastic too. A hidden gem that we stumbled across...

Our visit started off rocky. When we arrived they did not have our reservation. Frustrating as it was a special occasion and I booked one of the special tables. I even showed them my confirmation and they were at a loss, but didn’t apologize once. No biggie, we got a nice table anyways. Couldn’t sit at the special tables because of the waves, but they sat us on the patio higher up as they were not busy. Food was good, but I ordered steak medium rare and it came back medium well… server never came to check on us and I wasn’t able to call them over so I couldn’t send it back. Ate it anyways and it was still good due to the amazing red wine sauce, but disappointing nonetheless as this was my honeymoon and I don’t splurge on filet often. We wanted to order another course of pasta, but as we couldn’t get our server anywhere near the table we ended up just getting our dessert when they finally came over to clear our plates (20 minutes after we had finished) then going to the bar. Again, they were not busy so I’m not sure what the reason for this was. Dessert was delicious. Management seemed unconcerned when we spoke to them, again disappointing. The bar was a different story. Excellent service from the bartender and excellent cocktails in a truly unique setting, a can’t miss.
