Great restaurant with excellent views and very good service. Food tastes great. We had the Diavola pizza.

Pizza foarte buna! Asta am mâncat noi! Și a fost și mare, deci prețul nu a fost chiar așa mare pe cât crede lumea.
Am văzut o recenzie in care scria că "daca nu porți haine de designer, nu ești tratat bine"; acesta nu a fost cazul pentru noi. Am fost tratați foarte bine, chelneri primitori și profesioniști, chiar și glumeți; deci totul a decurs foarte bine, deși nu aveam o rezervare, care e cat de cat necesară.

Wir waren insgesamt drei Abende in Capri und jeweils in unterschiedlichen Restaurants essen.
Grundsätzlich sind uns die Preise bekannt gewesen und dementsprechend waren wir auf höhere Preise für Getränke, Essen, etc. eingestellt.
Was uns allerdings im Da Giorgio widerfuhr, empfanden wir als frech.
Normalerweise sind wir sehr kulant und können über vieles hinwegsehen, weshalb wir selten Rezensionen vergeben.
Der Kellner war von Anfang an grundlos dermaßen arrogant gegenüber uns, weshalb wir uns eigentlich von der ersten Sekunde an überhaupt nicht wohl fühlten.
Mein Freund aß Spaghetti mit Tomatensauce für 18€ und ich nahm das Pastagericht von der Tageskarte (Linguine mit Tomaten und Shrimps) für 28€.
Ich erwartete um Gottes Willen keine große Portion für Capri, allerdings erhielt ich insgesamt dieselben Nudeln wie mein Freund, mit der Ausnahme, dass drei Shrimps darauf drapiert waren. Nachdem diese geschält waren, war da kein großer Unterschied zur Portion meines Freundes.
Ich bin grundsätzlich nicht pingelig, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier aber überhaupt nicht. Zudem kommt der arrogante und unfreundliche Service hinzu.
Das Essen war nicht schlecht, aber wir haben für den selben Preis DEUTLICH besser in anderen Lokalen auf Capri gegessen.
Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass der Service ebenfalls einiges zum Geschmacksempfinden hinzufügen könnte.

This was the best restaurant we ate at in Capri. Everything was very well prepared, expertly seasoned, all with great presentation. We had a fried appetizer with various items that was wonderfully crispy and not greasy. Pasta dishes from the specials menu were some of the best we have ever had. And my fish dish was incredible. Sad we found this on our last night. Fantastic restaurant.

Walked into the restaurant and asked for a table for lunch. The restaurant was completely empty. They asked if we had a reso and when I replied no the old man just walked by us and waved his hand at us as if to shoo us away. So rude

Ondanks de misschien minder uitnodigende ingang ( via paar trapjes) zit een fantastisch goed restaurant verscholen. Wij hebben er 2 maal heerlijk gegeten. De beste scalopine al limone, fantastische lekkere wijnen, en super aardige bediening. Alle negatieve reviews zijn niet terecht. Dus, ga zeker es eten bij Da Giorgio !!!!

Had a great meal at Ristorante Da Giorgio. Found by walking along the street near the main plaza in Capri. Staff really friendly and the special pasta - seafood, was delicious. And a great view at sunset

Se non siete con abiti firmati vi tratteranno nei peggiori dei modi.
Tutto molto imbarazzante.

Entriamo e ci guardano dalla testa ai piedi.
Ci hanno detto che alcuni tavoli erano riservati ma non era nulla vero.
Ci hanno trattato come i peggiori clienti.

Che tristezza.
Datevi una svegliata, siete una pizzeria/ristorante, nulla di più.
Se non avete abiti firmati vi tratteranno peggio dei cani.
State alla larga.
Scortesi e antipatici.
Servizio no pessimo, di più.

This restaurant should have a much higher rating! Accidentally booked this restaurant thinking it was another I had previously been to, but did not regret it at all. We could not fault any dishes (we had very fussy Italians and a chef with us) and very reasonably priced considering where it is located. I would definitely come back.

Si mangia bene e c’è una bella vista Peccato per parte del personale che è stato molto scortese, risposte antipatiche come se gli stessimo facendo un favore a stare lì. Una volta fatto notare l’atteggiamento scontroso invece di chiedere scusa, hanno continuato a rispondere male. Ci hanno messo fretta anche se il locale era semivuoto. Un paio di ragazzi del personale invece molto simpatici ed educati, un vero peccato per il resto dello staff.

This restaurant was the best I have been to out of Sorrento, Positano, and Capri. Do not listen to the entitled reviews mentioning the service or charge. The food was so exceptional we were licking the plates clean. We had the mussel and clam pasta and the crazy sauce fish. Both very light and filling at the same time. The view was amazing even if we didn’t sit at the window.

We were so excited to try this restaurant and am so disappointed at the horrible service we encountered. I booked a reservation 3 months prior to our arrival, arrived early to the reservation and then were treated so terribly. The owner (hope it’s not) or manager of the hotel was so extremely rude to us upon our arrival. We have never ever done this but we ended up leaving our seats at the restaurant because we were so appalled by his attitude. Do NOT go to this restaurant unless they perceive you as “special” because you will not receive good service or be treated fairly. We went right down the street and found a restaurant that gladly seated us with open arms. Extremely disappointing- avoid.

Nu am stat la hotel. Doar am servit masa de prânz în restaurant. Personalul foarte amabil. Nu am așteptat mult sa ne aducă mâncarea. Mâncarea a fost foarte bună. Recomand!

I am reviewing the restaurant. Apart from the prices which are similar to otver places, the service is delivered by a grumpy waiter. It is called a panoramic restaurant and on asking a table by the window which was available, he said that if we did not hace a reservation then no.
He then refused people in saying service was finished (it was 1400) and then got more people in, stull sitting them in the middle of the restaurant instead of by the windows.
How can one be in the hospitality industry and have that attitude.
1 star from me. You're expensive for the location, but the service should accompany the price.

We just walked in because we were starving and made the mistake of not checking the reviews. They charge a 4€ service fee per person which is overpriced and charge 5€ per water. The pizza is pretty good and similarly priced everywhere in the area.

We went there for lunch, almost at closing time, therefore we only ordered 1 dish each, and it was definitely worth it!
The staff was very friendly and the pricetag was on par.

As I mentioned it was closing hours so the restaurant was empty... We got to sit at the seaview window, it was a fantastic experience.

I came in for lunch service at the restaurant and had the worst service of my life. Our server (a short white haired man) was rude and angry with us for no particular reason. When asked if we can get a window seat with a nice view, he kept giving the reason that it was reserved. We spent about an hour there while the “reserved tables” were unoccupied/unseated the entire time. It seemed that only native Italians were getting the nice seats. It felt as if we were getting poor treatment because we were tourists or POC. The server gave the same treatment/attitude to any tourist that came in. The food was decent, but I would never recommend this restaurant due to the service we experienced. Do not come here.

Ci hanno detto che era tutto riservato ma alla coppia seguente gli hanno dato un tavolo senza avere neanche riserva. Lo steso cameriere / nos dijeron que estaba todo reservado pero a la pareja siguiente los hicieron pasar y tampoco tenían reserva/ we’ve been told the restaurant was full reserved. After that, they seat a couple behind us without reservation.
