PINK ICELAND

Pink Iceland was a dream come true for our elopement last June. We had lots of questions and Sara helped us through the entire way! On our wedding day, Edda was our planner for the day and she was absolutely lovely. Pink Iceland has the best people and did a wonderful job all around. Thank you for making our dreams come true and making our wedding day a day that we will never forget!

We eloped in late November with Pink Iceland. We knew it would potentially be crazy weather but it was our only option. All through the planning, our planner Valdi was exceptional in providing us with information, answering our myriad of questions promptly,  and working with us as our budget changed.
Our actual wedding day was beyond anything we could have wanted. Between Valdi and our photographer (Laimonas with Sunday & White Studio), our officiant Hilder Bjork, and my hair and makeup artists Gundrun Hjartar (all vendors recommended by Valdi)  we could not have asked for a better team. We had communicated the things that were important to us. Experiencing the beauty of Iceland while not being surrounded by lots of tourists. Valdi and Laimonas delivered on that request again and again. We had the most lovely ceremony overlooking the ocean from a site I had really wanted to visit. Our officiant Hilder spent time making sure the ceremony was special and personalized. Even though she just met us we could feel her joy in seeing us pledge to spend our lives together. This was  followed by a tour of Snaefellsnes with  stunning location after location for photographs. On top of all that, we were treated like royalty.

Valdi came extremely well prepared for anything we would need. Cozy coats, umbrellas, warm drinks, snacks, drinks. He was an amazing host. My husband and I are both pretty introverted and the combination of international travel, being with strangers all day, along with being photographed could potentially be exhausting. Valdi and Laimonasmade us feel so at ease. It was like being driven around by old friends. I could not recommend them more as a team. They had vision for the day, but rolled with weather changes and were always open to our suggestions and feedback. I can not recommend a better team than these two.
This was the wedding of our dreams and day we will remember for the rest of our lives. Thank you, Thank you, Thanks you!

There aren’t enough superlatives to describe the amazing service that Pink Iceland provides! My husband and I wanted a low key but special elopement that could include my young children. The day was beyond anything we expected. Gloey was our planner and she is spectacular! She thought of every last thing and made it feel so special. She didn’t bat an eye when it came to including my kids. She was so accommodating and easy going.

Planning from day one was easy and stress free. I never felt concerned despite planning from afar. Gloey understood the vibe I was going for even though I didn’t give her much to go on. Her picnic skills are top notch :) The photographer Kristin Maria was perfect, captured the day and my family flawlessly. Gloey suggested Inga as our officiant - she nailed it with that recommendation! Inga weaved in both my husband’s and my cultures, made us laugh, and told a beautiful story of our relationship.

All in all, it was the perfect day and it wouldn’t have happened without Gloey and Pink Iceland. Look no further - these are your go to people!

Pink Iceland has been absolutely incredible. Our wedding planner Heidrun was something special (we’d recommend her to anyone and everyone) — she was able to keep us relaxed and stress free during the whole planning process. We are from Denver, CO and had never been to Iceland before. She planned multiple days of tours for us and our guests (which we would highly recommend) everyone loved it and we were all able to see so much of Iceland. Arni was our tour guide — he was very personable and by the last day felt like apart of the family/ friend group. For our rehearsal dinner we wanted something unique and Heidrun recommended Frioheimar which is a tomato greenhouse — all of our guests said it was a rehearsal dinner they’d never forget. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was delicious — none of us realized how much we’d enjoy so many different foods incorporating their tomatoes (my now husband isn’t a big tomato guy and he LOVED everything). On our wedding day we did a private photo tour with our photographer and Gloey — she took us to Þórufoss a waterfall where we were able to get unbelievably beautiful photos. We cannot thank Heidrun enough for making our wedding week and wedding the most special time of our lives. There truly isn’t anything that could have made it more perfect. Coming back to Iceland is high on the list and when we’re there we hope we get to see Heidrun again and catch up on where life has taken all of us.

If we could give more than 5 stars we would! We had the most incredible experience with Pink Iceland and got THE BEST TEAM we could have ever asked for! When we decided to get married in Iceland we inquired with a handful of companies, but after the first email exchange we knew Pink Iceland was who we wanted. From the initial zoom meeting, to all the email correspondence, Sara made every step of the process stress-free and fun for us! Everything was clearly laid out. She provided many suggestions and options, but we never felt pressured into anything and got to decide every single detail.

They really do their best give you an incredible experiece. We had a dream team of Sara (planner), Kristin (photographer), Arni (officient), Gloey (set up), and Porhildur (our guide) - we honestly couldn’t have picked a better, more fitting crew for us! Our wedding day was completely stress free, as they had everything taken care of! We had the best time with them, it felt like we were among friends even though we had just met! Do not hesitate to hire Pink Iceland for your dream wedding! We have no doubt that everyone at Pink Iceland are the best of the best!
