The view to the frozen lake was something really amazing!
I had visit Vok baths some years ago when they first opened and everything were clean and tidy. Unfortunately this time the pools were full of green plants and the bottom was really slippery and hard to walk on.
I really really wish to fix those issues because the location worth the visit ! Love it though!

What a beautiful view! I fell in love with Iceland and this is one of the reasons. I wish they did this in my area (NY/NJ USA). They have heated baths in different degrees of heat, a cold bath, cold shower, and a steam room. If you want beer they bring it to you if you like. You pay at the end with you bracelet which has an NFC sensor I think.

A fantastic place, swimming in hot water next to an iced up lake is amazing. Great staff, the pool bar is lovely and the facilities are top notch.

One of the best things we did on the trip. Beautiful facility . We had a wild time in the cold plunge lake. Warm springs are really nice . We could do this all day !

Beautiful baths including two infinity pools that float in the lake (which was frozen when we visited). They break through the ice so you can take a freezing dip too if you want! Swim up bar was good with great service — the slushies were a nice counterpoint to sitting in 40C water. Very nice showers with lovely shampoo, conditioner & shower gel provided, plenty of lockers, private changing cubicles, etc etc. Very modern and well appointed.

Hands down the best hot springs in iceland! Very gentle ease into the hot pool, don’t have to face the cold air. Love the cold plunge pools too. Will be back! ????????

Nice!
But unfortunately many people go into the water without showering and with dry swimwear, which is not very pleasant!
There are a few signs saying that you should shower without clothes first, but the signs are small and hard to see. There are also individual showercabins, but unfortunately the doors are not labeled.

A must do experience. We immersed and calmed down in the warm water, having drinks just enjoying the natural landscape. No words are needed. It's even better when you jump in the frozen lake, refresh and go back at it. Everything is set conveniently. You get an electronic bracelet for access to the main area and your locker. You can also use it at the bar to track your purchases for which you pay later. The showers and changing area is welcoming and fully equipped. You rest your shoes at the front, then you have the option of private chaning rooms and private showers. Felt absolutely safe and welcoming. Wish we had a place like this in our hometown. Will definitely revisit!

Locker rooms were amazingly clean. Had semi private showers in the woman's rooms for us shyer folk. Instructions clear, and a wading pool to ease into the hot springs, followed by three pools of varying degrees. The staff was polite. The views were fantastic in the winter, with a sheet of ice covering the lake.

Amazing place. 100% recommended.
The experience of entering in the cold water and then going straight to hot water is insane. Everyone should try it.

Wonderful thermal baths.
We arrived for sunset hour and enjoyed a few hours here, soaking up the wondering atmosphere and gorgeous setting.
These baths are smaller than some others across Iceland but to be honest that's a good thing. They felt much more intimate and exclusive than the bigger southern baths. The main lagoon into which you enter is relatively small but is great for acclimatising before making the dash through the open air to the floating pools on the lake.
It is these 2 floating pools that are the best thing about Vök Baths. They provide gorgeous lake views and the frozen lake ice (in winter) comes right up to the sides, which you can dip your hands into. The lake is only available for swimming during summer months but in winter you can use a small de-iced section as a plunge pool - worth a try for the experience if you can brave 0° waters! FYI - the walkways get very slippery if you try to run so be wary.
The sauna is kind of hidden away right beside the entrance into the water but don't miss it, it's a nice little sauna and helps break up the time between pools.
Probably our favourite baths in Iceland.

Second best spa we tried on Iceland. It is a good place for the last day before the ferry. The idea if tea is interesting, but not amazing. (The best on is in Husavik)

Wij kregen korting omdat we student waren.
