Such an amazing place to stay-totally remote and feels like the edge of the world. It was a beautiful view, even with the clouds covering most of it on the first night. I can’t imagine coming to Iceland and not making it out here-100% worth the trip! Also they provide salt and pepper, coffee and tea which was great! No sugar or creamer though and the grocery stores in town close earlier than we are used to in other places of the world-which makes sense but need to plan for. Overall a clean and cozy cottage with an excellent view and amazing blanket!

一個地點非常偏僻的小木屋。主人非常用心的佈置房間。房間裡有微波爐電磁爐基本的烹飪工具。
只要在六點以前去小鎮買食材，就可以回來小屋自己煮晚餐。
晚上運氣好的話，可以拍到銀河丶夕陽與極光。
第一號房間的視野最好。

Nette und saubere Cottages. Der Self-Check-In War unkompliziert, sowie das auschecken. Ich hatte zu beginn der Anreise eine Frage und ich konnte sofort jemanden erreichen und meine Frage wurde schnell beantwortet. Alles was notwendig ist, ist enthalten. Die Gegend ist sehr schön ruhig und die Aussicht ein Traum. Wir waren für zwei Nächte da und hätten noch bleiben können. Wir hatten das Glück, dass wir an diesem Standort auch die Polarlichter, so wie man sie sich vorstellt, beobachten konnten. Es war bezaubernd und unglaublich. Ich würde wieder bei Dis-Cottages buchen wenn ich wieder in Island unterwegs bin. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Les cottages sont sympathiques, assez bien équipés mais pas haut de gamme pour le prix.
La vue et lemplacement sont extraordinaires, on y a vu notre première aurore boréale.
Mention aux propriétaires francais super sympa.

Wir waren gerade 2 Nächte hier. Es war super, tolle Unterkunft, grandiose Aussicht, wir konnten auch Polarlichter beobachten! Absolut zu empfehlen!!!!

Well... for a group of 4 adults, the cottages are a bit... tight. but the place is remote enough to be relaxing, and close enough to Snaefellsjökull and many other hiking places to be strategic. On top, the manager is really cool and helpful if you are in trouble. Very good spot

Eigenlijk was alles wel prima. Alleen die krukjes niet. Op die slappe zittingen zit je beroerd. Dat kan vast wel beter.

We spent two nights here and was exactly how I hoped it would be. We were even lucky enough to see the Northern Lights right outside on the second night! Was well located to drive to different points in the peninsula. The cottage itself was private, well built and had everything you needed. We didn’t have any issues with the hot water which I’ve seen on previous reviews. The only slight criticism I have is that there wasn’t anywhere to unpack or hang clothes other than a small coat stand by the kitchen which isnt ideal if you cook (we did for two dinners and breakfasts and the kitchen equipment was all clean and in working order - the small stove from Ikea was great!). There isn’t too much to choose from if you want to stay in Snaefellsnes and with all the research, I’m really happy I picked here - I’d recommend to anyone to stay at Dis Cottages if you want accommodation that isn’t a hotel

Magical view. Cottage is comfortable with basic amenities. There was an intermittent leak (cottage 3) from the ceiling which we informed the owners about however there was no response. It looked the leak had been occuring for some time due to the expanded ceiling and floor board where the water was falling. Luckily the water was not falling on the bed or on us otherwise that would have really been an issue, but was leaking to the side of the room.
Also personal preference to have a firmer pillow. The ones available were very thin / soft, although from other reviews you are able to procure more.
Overall good / location / experience but a bit worrying if no response regarding leak.

Even with really bad weather, we had a great time at DÍS Cottages.
Sébastien and Anne are the best hosts, they welcomed us and gave us tips on what to see and do in Snaefellsnes.
The view is amazing, the cottages are cosy and well-equipped, you'll find everything you need for a short stay.

Super endroit pour passer quelques nuits en Islande. Proche du village où se trouve quelques restaurants et de la célèbre montagne Kirkjufell. Le propriétaire, français, est venu nous souhaiter la bienvenue et nous donner quelques conseils sur les alentours et sur les aurores borelaes. La chambre est confortable et à tous ce qu'il faut pour passer une bonne nuit. Je recommande fortement cet endroit.
