Lorsqu’on traverse la baie de Maputo en bateau, on ne peut pas rater le grand bâtiment beige tout en rondeur qui constitue cet hôtel 4 étoiles qui surplombe la ville basse. De son patio de gazon où se découpe le turquoise d'une petite piscine, on jouit d’une vue magnifique sur la baie de Maputo. Un lieu idéal pour dîner ou prendre un verre, mais aussi pour y séjourner : l'adresse a bonne réputation, tout est impeccablement tenu, le service est très pro. Les chambres sont lumineuses, de bon standing, la plupart avec une belle vue. Salle de gym.

Firstly, I noticed that complimentary body lotion was not provided in the rooms, which is a standard amenity at most hotels in South Africa. This was a minor inconvenience but would have been appreciated.
Secondly, the toilet paper rolls were quite small and ran out quickly. I had to request more rolls on several occasions, and on my last day, I was unable to get a roll delivered to my room despite repeated requests. This caused some unnecessary stress during my stay.
Despite these minor issues, I would still recommend this hotel to others.

However the service is really bad.
I checked in yesterday and am here writing this review still, I arrived at the swimming pool 1h30m ago and have requested twice for someone to come take my order but no one came so far!
I had to call the reception to ask again, and still no one is coming!
Plus the pool side lawn was filled with bottles and cans from the previous night which obviously indicates a party happened here but no one is bothering to clean up.
It feels either like thw employees here are either on a silent strike or they simply don't want the business to be successful!
Such a shame for a very nice place. And the hotel doesn't seem even 20% occupied so what is the staff even busy with?
Anyway, I would come again if the service is improved or management changed.
