Très beau et immense chalet traditionnel refait à neuf en style ancien à Partenkirchen. Superbe vue sur les montagnes.
Très beau et immense chalet traditionnel cossu et charmant avec sa façade peinte, ses balcons fleuris et ses volets verts. L'hôtel a été refait à neuf mais il conserve un style ancien très apprécié. Ici, le bois domine et crée une atmosphère naturelle apaisante. On se demande bien d'où vient le nom (schatten signifie "ombre" en allemand) tant le site est lumineux. Superbe vue sur les montagnes depuis la plupart des chambres. L'hôtel se trouve à 3 minutes à pied de la Ludwigstraße, la rue piétonne et l'artère principale de Partenkirchen.

had a 3 night stay in end Oct 23.
The location is about 1km+ from the train station, a few public buses will bring you to sebastiankirche which will shorten the distance to around 500m.
Service:
The service here is 100% , extremely helpful and friendly people. They also provided us free guest cards that can be used for discounts around the area and also free public transport.
Room:
We opted for a double room with a balcony, it is an understatement that the room was the best accommodation we had stayed in our lives. The room itself was spacious and clean. Comes with a fridge and kettle (+1 pointd) The toilet was gigantic and clean as well.
The room we had was a corner room with a nice view of the mountains from the balcony and garmish from the balcony, but the feature that elevates this room was the skylight, it had a direct view of the Zugspitze and our minds were blown????????????????????????️
the only cons of this place would maybe be the location, as it is quite far from the gapa city centre, but in all honesty the city centre has nothing much to offer either.
Will definitely be coming back again.

We stayed there for 2 nights. Beautiful big room we had, very spacious and beautiful view. Parking is also available. Breakfast was very very good to be honest we were worried about it but nothing to worry. It was worth to have breakfast there. Only issue is for lunch and dinner. There is one hotel nearby which you have to do reservations before.

Am Anreisetag hatte ich Geburtstag und es stand promt eine Glückwunschkarte und eine Flasche Sekt im sehr schönen geräumigen Zimmer.
Frühstück super. Schade nur das die Gaststätte geschlossen ist, bei dem schönen Ambiente.
