I visited during 05-11-24 to 06-11-24. I arrived almost midnight on the first day. I Didn't have dinner from the hotel on that day. On the day of check out( my return flight is in the midnight next day)I requested hotel if they can give me a voucher for dinner on that day since I didn't have dinner on first day. They obliged
On my second day, I don't know that hotels close by 8 and requested them for dinner after 8.. They told hotels are closed. I requested them if I can take something from the mini bar instead of dinner. They obliged
On the day of my check out, I left my luggage with the concierge and went to Amedeé light house. After returning in the evening, they allowed me to shower in the gym (though I checked out in the morning). Thank you for making my stay pleasant. Merci
Personnel attentionné et sympathique
Le ++, le massage est top, relaxant et tonique. Tres pro. Je recommande.
Our intended holiday at Le Lagon had to be abandoned because of the riots.
Our flight to Noumea on the 15th of May was the first to be cancelled and there were no flights for several weeks following because of the airport closure.
We were not notified of the flight cancellation until 4:15 pm on the 14th May, so it was impossible for us to notify the hotel any earlier. Three days later on the 17th of May, Le Lagon
charged us a cancellation fee of AUD $313.92 which was deducted from my bank card .
Given the circumstances which were beyond our control deducting money from our bank card can only be regarded as cynical opportunism.
They would have known on the 17th that it would have been impossible for anyone to visit Noumea so why take our money?
I emailed them twice seeking an explanation but they did not bother to reply to either which is not only very unprofessional but also indicative of a don't care attitude towards their clientele.

I would personally like to say thank you to the owners for their understanding during the situation in May 2024. There was no question of concerns about extending my stay and they ensured that we had all the recent communications for information. Even with reduced staff, they made sure that breakfast was available and supplies were provided when requested.
Je tiens personnellement à remercier les propriétaires pour leur compréhension lors de la situation de mai 2024. Il n'a pas été question d'inquiétude quant à la prolongation de mon séjour et ils ont veillé à ce que nous ayons toutes les communications récentes pour information. Même avec un personnel réduit, ils ont veillé à ce que le petit-déjeuner soit disponible et que les fournitures soient fournies sur demande.
Everyone on reception provided plenty of advice and support and a big thank you to Thomas, who I spoke with the most.
Tout le monde à la réception m'a apporté de nombreux conseils et soutien et un grand merci à Thomas, avec qui j'ai le plus parlé.
I have stayed at this hotel many times previously but my experience in May 2024 was exceptional considering the unusual situation.
J'ai séjourné plusieurs fois dans cet hôtel auparavant mais mon expérience en mai 2024 a été exceptionnelle compte tenu de la situation inhabituelle

Nous avons séjourné samedi soir dans la suite prestige pour notre 1er anniversaire de mariage. Elle est hyperspacieuse, la jacuzzi est top.
Accueil au top. Personnel très agréable et avenant ( ce qui est parfois rare dans certains hôtels de Calédonie).
Etant résidents au Mont dore, cette petite escapade pas très loin de la maison a été très agréable.
Le cadre est vraiment sympathique.
La suite "prestige" étant située juste à côté de la piscine, nous avions un peu peur que cela soit bruyant mais PAS du tout.
Au plaisir de revenir bientôt à l'Hôtel du lagon pour une nouvelle escapade en amoureux.
