HÔTEL BEAUPRÉ

Très convivial, chambres confortables et repas excellents. :-)

I stayed at the for two nights, as it seemed like the best choice in Ouvéa.
The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but their garden with individual units for each guest was a great surprise. Each of them is self contained, with a little kitchen as well.
The staff at the reception and restaurant are very helpful and can assist with the activities. We had the breakfast and dinner included, and both were generous, although some additional fresh fruit could have improved the breakfast.
The place is very close to the beach, and in a strategic position, at the center of the island.

As for many other places around, there are a lot of stray dogs. They are friendly, but during our stay, we witnessed two of them being hit by cars, so try not to get attached.

Another aspect to consider is that there are a few shops and car rentals at walking distance, which is quite convenient.

All in all, we had a nice stay and enjoyed our meals there. On a negative side, the lack of alternatives and general isolation of the place makes it substantially more expensive then you would expect.

L'hôtel est se situe près d'une belle plage.Les bungalows sont dans un magnifique jardin,dans un endroit calme.
Le restaurant est correct,ainsi que le snack. Un petit bémol :la personne à l'accueil pourrait sourire un peu plus(c'est tellement plus agréable d'être accueilli par une personne souriante)

After spending almost a week in Noumea and not able to take advantage of the beaches, all our beach vacation wishes came true once we checked into Hotel Beauprés and walked across the road and saw the beach stretched out for miles in both directions. The water looks exactly like it does in the photos, all different hues of blue and green, warm and perfect for swimming in, we spent morning and afternoon each day enjoying the water - absolutely wonderful and the sunsets!!!

We spent 5 nights and had a comfortable and roomy bungalow with a deck and a couple of sun lounges, surrounded by a tropical garden, with some epic banana trees right next door and free wifi! Make sure you bring lots of mozzie repellent, especially if you're a mozzie magnet like myself (they also sell some at reception).

All the staff were friendly and made us feel welcome, even though we spoke very little french. Our booking came with free breakfast with a decent variety of hot and cold food options. There's a snack bar next door with some limited lunch options and we had dinner each night at the main restaurant with a few entrees and mains to choose from (just be mindful of prices) and everything we ate was tasty. There's a petrol station and a mini-supermarket approx. 15-20 min walk away.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay and loved interacting with the animals that lived at the hotel (though avoid feeding them). If you're looking for somewhere laidback and unpretentious then this hotel and it's location (10min drive from the airport) is definitely worth staying at!

grand bungalow avec terrasse au calme , bien équipé (climatisation, réfrigérateur , micro-ondes, bouilloire) grand lit de 180). Le bungalow est bien protégé par la végétation permettant d avoir son intimité.
Possibilté de manger au restaurant intégré à l hotel avec des plats de qualité. Je recommande le crabe des cocotiers.
Pour la plage il faut juste traverser la route.
Au final un très bon rapport qualité prix.
