HÔTEL BEAUPRÉ

We spent four nights here after carefully weighing up the Ouvea accommodation options. Really glad we chose here.

The cabins are spacious, clean and quite charming, as are the gardens they're nestled in. Nice bathroom. For what you get, the room rate is pretty reasonable.

The location is great. The beach is just a few metres away where you can swim and sunbathe during the day, or watch the turtles come out at sunset. Being centrally located on the island is a huge plus. Ouvea is deceptively long and it takes a while to get to either end.

The hotel reception kindly arranged a scooter for us within minutes of our requesting it, for a reasonable rate. I would recommend this as a means of getting around the island, or else perhaps a rental car.

Best of all was their willingness to prepare vegan dinners for us, (often a tall ask at places like this where seafood in particular is so central to the diet). Their vegan meals were delicious and filling, and the cost was reasonable. Despite possibly being an inconvenience to the kitchen, we were made to feel so welcome at dinner every night by our friendly host.

There were a few adorable cats slinking around and usually snoozing in the sun, if you're a cat person then that's yet another good reason to stay here.

Petits bungalows avec climatisation et tout le confort (petit coin cuisine). Le restaurant est excellent avec une bonne ambiance.

Très bon accueil dans ce charmant hôtel. Etat de propreté impeccable. Bien situé même s'il n'est pas au bord de la plus belle plage de l'île. Le personnel est aux petits soin pour nous. Au top !
