This is such a beautiful place to get away from the constant "doing doing doing" of big city life. Accessible for those taking public transport instead of driving. Down the road there's the Voss Folk Museum which I enjoyed greatly. There are also hiking trails right nearby. The rooms look as beautiful as they are on their website. One night is just not enough. They also have a fab restaurant that serves dinner.

مزرعة قديمة تحولت إلى مطعم وفندق، موقع الفندق جميل جدا فوق الجبل ويطل على منظر خلاب، صاحب المكان محترم و راقي و يملك شقق في أماكن مختلفة في مدينة فوس، الشقة نظيفة وجميلة ويتوفر فيها كامل أدوات الطبخ، وإطلالتها جميلة جدا، قريبة من جميع الخدمات والفعاليات، سنتر مدينة فوس تبعد تقريباً ٨ دقايق مشي على الأقدام، تجربة السكن في بيت نرويجي لا تنسى، أنصح فيه وأرجع له

Perfekt for et romantisk opphold! Vi koste oss i et rom fra 1600 tallet med champagne og håndlaget sjokolade. Selvsagt røde roser på rommet. 5 retters middag etc. En ektemanns beste partner, dette!

We stayed at Store Ringheim for 2 nights in May 2021. It is located in the hills outside of Voss with a great view of Vangsvatnet. It is an old farm and it reminded me of farm stays that we have had in Italy. Check in was fast but we did not get information about breakfast, wifi etc. We got the room Lemmen – I guess a suite of some sort as the room was quite big. It is an old farm, so the rooms are all different and have lots of history. The wooden floor was painted in grey while the wooden walls were unpainted. There was a comfortable double bed, a sofa and chair, a small TV that we didn’t really try and a table with chairs. There was even a small fireplace and I guess it is lovely to light this in the wintertime. The bathroom was modern with black tiles on the floor and white tiles on the walls – and there were great bathroom amenities from L'Occitane. Wifi was included and worked just fine.

There was a restaurant in the main building – the menu featured a couple of starters and a couple of mains. I had pre-ordered a smalehove (head of sheep) which is traditional for the area. Thank you for providing this for me Svein – I appreciated that! Breakfast was served in the same place in the morning, but it was also possible to enjoy this in the greenhouse outside with views to Voss.

There were several tables, chairs, and benches around the farm to sit down and enjoy the view! Location of the hotel is great if you have a car – it only takes 5 minutes to downtown Voss. It is about 2 km so walking takes 25-30 minutes.

This place was awesome. It is a place with lots of history and charm. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was modern and functional, and we were able to enjoy dinner there the night when we arrived. I hope that many will get to experience the tranquility of a farm stay on a hill outside Voss!

Prachtige locatie, mooie romantische kamer op zolder (2e verdieping zonder lift). Goede bedden! Heerlijk avondeten en lekker ontbijt, met spullen uit omgeving en eigen tuin !!

Vi spiste middag der en kveld. Nydelig sted, hyggelige ansatte, og maten var kortreist/lokal, smakte nydelig .

Homely rooms and exceptional food: very few restaurants take so much care over every ingredient

We were here for a wedding, amazing experience. The weather was briljant, The gardens were nice to wonder around in and the breakfast was marvellous in the old greenhouse
Well wouth a second visit

The view from the hotel is worth a million dollars. The hosts are kind and warm. The dinner at the restaurant is superb! The highlight is the strawberry picking in the garden. My two kids absolutely enjoyed the experience.

It is located on the hill and a bit far from the station. Gorgeous views and great food. If you are too board with city hotels, this might be a good choice.

Stay here for a very special experience. We don’t want to leave. The list is long from the very kind 8th generation farmer proprietor to the gourmet restaurant to one of the most epic views we’ve seen. Wonderful people and wonderful experience.

Et aldeles nydelig gammelt sted. Rom med virkelig sjel i (bodde i eldhuset).
Fantastisk mat både for øye og gane. Helig å sitte på trammen utenfor huset og nyte freden og utsikten med et glass champagne. Anbefales på det varmeste!

A family-owned B&B situated on a hillside overlooking Voss and its valley. Dinner was expertly prepared, and the beautifully appointed historic Eldhuset room (dating from the 1650s) was a special treat. The friendly, personalized service from the owners made the stay even nicer.
