une expérience fantastique et des guides formidables, hautement recommandés
si possible j'y retournerai cette année
Nous avons fait le snorkeling à Skjervoy et nous sommes ravis. Au premier abord, l'accueil et la distribution de l'équipement semblaient un peu chaotiques, mais cette impression était totalement trompeuse ! Tous les collaborateurs avaient une bonne vue d'ensemble de qui avait encore besoin de quelque chose et on faisait vraiment attention à chaque client. Je me suis sentie très à l'aise dans l'équipement et j'avais tellement chaud que j'ai même transpiré. La plongée en elle-même était fantastique ! Un grand bravo à toute l'équipe, en particulier à notre capitaine Stig, qui respecte les baleines, ne les chasse pas et parvient malgré tout à faire en sorte que ses clients repartent avec des souvenirs inoubliables.
Je peux recommander à 100% cette petite entreprise et son équipe formidable à tous ceux qui attachent de l'importance aux organisateurs personnels et authentiques.
Les guides et les skippers étaient sympathiques et chaleureux. Nous avons été bien informés et avons reçu un très bon équipement pour le snorkeling. Malgré les températures arctiques, nous n'avons jamais eu froid. Les guides et les skippers se sont toujours enquis de notre bien-être.
La nature et les baleines ont toujours été respectées. Le bateau était positionné de manière à ce que les baleines nagent dans notre direction. Nous avons ainsi eu plusieurs fois l'occasion de faire du snorkeling à proximité directe d'orques et de baleines à bosse.
Une expérience formidable et unique, à recommander absolument.
Le tour-opérateur est tout aussi recommandable. Nous nous sommes sentis en sécurité et entre de bonnes mains.
Ils sont rapidement complets, mais je vous recommande de vous inscrire sur la liste d'attente, car nous avons pu nous inscrire pour les trois excursions à la dernière minute !
Nous avons également pêché le lendemain. Une première expérience amusante avec une belle prise et un homme habile à nos côtés !
Les deux sont fortement recommandés pour des expériences uniques et des personnes très sympathiques
The captain steers the boat from the side into the orcas path. You jump in and the orcas then dive under and past the group of snorkelers. They don't pay any attention to the humans. But I really cannot tell if they are bothered by it. There were only 2 RIB boats with snorkelers and 2 more RIB boats with whale watchers, so that seemed reasonable. The blasting of music on the way in and out seemed unnecessary though.
Some tips: wear lots of layers under the dry suit. Heating pads in your shoes are also nice. Glide calmly in the water and orientate yourself a bit before you go in.
Friendly people.
Kept warm in dry suit, hands got a bit cold towards the end, and ears got a bit cold towards the end.
Unfortunately we did not get in the water at all, on a snorkel trip.
We understand the weather was bad, but we hardly saw any whales, the guide was constantly in the way when we did see them to try and take pictures/videos.
They interrupted them logging. It appeared they did not even know what logging was.
After interrupting the logging/resting they thought they were going down to feed. But it's because they were interrupted.
The skipper did not get infront of the whales anywhere near enough for us to jump in with them.
Although we haven't snorkelled with them before we have used other tour companies for seeing the whales which we found were fantastic and more knowledgeable compared to this company.
life at risk. I have witnesses whom have supported me through this process. They had zero remorse and continued to do tours with no fins. Luckily I have a video and witnesses. The captain put us in the water, and the other tour operator hit me. Not only do they not care about the Orcas, they do not care about safety for passengers. Listen if you are not a good swimmer and you can’t hold your breathe, and if you had. been in my situation, you could have died. I got very lucky to not have died. The owner of the company bribed me with another tour. Usually accidents that aren’t fatal, take time to discover injuries. I have been in pain in my left shoulder and beck since then. I would either go on a liveaboard or enjoy them from the boat. It is so dark and murky waters either way. Safety is important. And I can be honest and say the company has done nothing to make right or to change protocol and safety measures. These are Norwegian standards. Be safe. please.
