Un superbe endroit où loger dans la ville.
Le personnel était adorable. Nous avons profité d’un Braii cuisiné par l’équipe !
Tout était très propre, chambre, sanitaires, douches !
Et l’offre du walk tour gratuit fait par des étudiants, très belle initiative.
Je recommande fortement ! Merci l’équipe ????

Bon et pas cher.....

L'emplacement est parfait. Nous avons pu garer notre voiture en toute sécurité à l'intérieur. Le service est très amical. Les chambres sont très belles et l'atmosphère relaxante avec tous ces petits coins pour s'asseoir et se détendre

C'était notre premier séjour en Namibie après un long vol et ce fut un bel accueil chez les caméléons ! Nous avons très bien dormi et avons commencé notre voyage le lendemain.

Hébergement agréable avec un personnel sympathique, ambiance décontractée avec un public international de tous âges.

J'ai passé mes trois dernières nuits en Namibie au Chameleon. J'ai séjourné dans la chambre éléphant, que j'ai beaucoup aimée. La chambre est très confortable, joliment décorée et propre. Elle dispose d'un petit balcon avec une douche extérieure, d'un climatiseur et d'un ventilateur de plafond. Le lit était confortable et la douche avait une bonne pression d'eau. Tout le personnel était très accueillant, serviable et amical. Les prix au bar sont très raisonnables et j'ai beaucoup apprécié la soirée quiz du jeudi soir. J'ai pu réserver un transfert vers l'aéroport auprès de la réception. Je recommande vivement cet établissement.

Chameleon Backpackers est un véritable bijou ! Le personnel, en particulier Coco et Sam, est incroyablement amical et fait en sorte que vous vous sentiez comme chez vous. La visite à pied gratuite tous les matins est un moyen fantastique d'explorer Windhoek et de rencontrer d'autres voyageurs. L'endroit est propre, bien organisé et très agréable. Hautement recommandé pour les voyageurs à petit budget à la recherche d'une atmosphère accueillante et sociale !

Cet établissement offre un service à la clientèle remarquable et est très bien situé. Il est généralement conseillé de ne pas se promener seul la nuit en raison du taux de criminalité élevé. Tous les clients ont accès à la cuisine et à la piscine. La puissance du WiFi est également bonne. Nous avons eu un problème de fuite du toit en raison de fortes pluies, mais il a été immédiatement pris en charge et réparé. Je préférerais séjourner ici plutôt que dans un hôtel Hilton pour sa propreté et l'amabilité du personnel. Essayez la visite guidée gratuite de la ville à 9 heures, animée par Memory & Jacqueline.

La maison d'hôtes Caméléon est un endroit idéal pour séjourner avant et après votre voyage. C'est un endroit calme, bien entretenu et propre. Le personnel est très accueillant et sympathique. L'emplacement est agréable. Vous pouvez profiter de la piscine, du bar et de leur restaurant

L'accueil que nous avons reçu n'était pas bon du tout. Le service offert était Weck, parlez à vos fournisseurs de services. Surtout Loide

Un backpacker qui répond aux besoins des backpackers : lieux de rencontre, lieux de retraite, divertissements, bon Internet, informations affichées, très bon stockage des objets personnels et de la nourriture, cuisine bien approvisionnée, personnel aimable et serviable !

C'est un très bon endroit pour séjourner à Windhoek. Ils sont très serviables, sympathiques et parfaitement situés dans la ville. J'y ai séjourné à l'arrivée et au départ de la Namibie et je les choisirais à nouveau si je me trouvais dans la ville.

Personnel sympathique, atmosphère détendue et chambres agréables. Je reviendrai certainement ici !

テントエリアに宿泊しました。空地にテント貼る感じでした。
キッチンが便利で使いやすくてよかったです。
中心地からちょっと遠いのがネックでした。

200 pppn for camping. Bed in dorm 300. Jammed together with other campers half a meter apart. Overall the facilities are nice to relax in. Too expensive for what is offered in my opinion and I would not camp here again. Recommend to look elsewhere.

Good value accommodation, clean and spacious. Very secure. Parking inside secure gate.

Great backpacker hostel. Friendly staff. Location is very central. Unfortunately, I did not feel safe when walking on the street. Too many street kids and a lot of solicitation, some of the street kids looked very drunk and dangerous.

I stayed for 1 night at the hostel. The included breakfast was good, the room clean.
So what happened is that I was sleeping in an empty 6 bed dorm (it was only me, no other persons stuff was there and I didn’t see anyone the whole day after my arrival + at the reception no one told me I had another roommate and even less that it was a man) when suddenly at midnight a random guy came into my room. I got very scared, put my flashlight on and asked who he was ( I could barely see, only his silhouette) No answer, he just pulled his shirt off and jumped into a bed. As a young women travelling alone I was freaked out and decided that I could not sleep alone with that strange guy in the same room. So I went out and looked for someone who could help me. Luckily a guy came and put me in another room.
I told the women at the reception what happened the next day and I really did not like her attitude. She actually said it was my fault because I did not know what I booked for. what? I don’t think it is normal to have some stranger coming into your room at midnight and on top of that that no one told me I had a room mate. I have been in other hostels and they always warned me in case I would have a dorm with a lot or only 1 other guy so I could decide if I wanted to change or not. It is the hostels responsibility to warn people, especially women, in such cases(especially if they don’t have girls rooms!) I would have had 0 problem with 3 girls and 2 guys in that room but 1 guy, coming in at midnight with no stuff no nothing not even saying hello when I ask him who he is,sorry this is absolutely unacceptable. And then blame me, even though she could see I kinda got traumatised. I would not recommend it for solo women, they don’t take you seriously… I was disappointed and that’s because I left earlier than planned. Just didn’t feel safe there.

The staff and people staying there are all very friendly!

The kitchen and the outdoor lounge around the pool are great.

Very nice backpackers hostel. We did get a double bedroom with view on the pool. We had a late flight out and it was no problem to store luggage and use all the facilities after we checked out.
Apologies for forgetting to pay the bar bill and that you had to track me down at the airport to get it settled.

Bardzo przyjemne miejsce, dobre na pierwszą noc w Windhuku, blisko do centrum handlowego, obsługa również pomocna, można zapytać o atrakcje i porady, jest basen, bar, aneks kuchenny, miejsce parkingowe na zamkniętym terenie. Mieliśmy pokój Elephant z oddzielnym tarasem, śniadania w formie bufetu w cenie.

Excellente auberge. Nous avons pris une chambre double (nommée Éléphant). C’était très propre et confortable. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Possibilité d’utiliser la cuisine, repas du soir proposé à l’auberge pour pas cher (nous n’avons pas eu l’occasion de rester), bar et piscine. A 10-15 minutes à pied du Craft center et des points d’intérêts de Windhoek. Je recommande !
