Villa Paola is a stunning and unique place that's very close to my heart and my husband's, as it's become a big part of our story.
We first came here in 2022, and in the villa's amazing garden facing the Tyrrhenian Sea, my then-boyfriend proposed to me (and I said yes, of course!).
Months later, and after several weeks of debating where to get married, we thought to ourselves, "Why not Villa Paola?!" We truly could not think of a more magical place for our wedding.
Paola's staff members were extremely helpful and detail oriented during the wedding planning process. Deborah, the hotel and events manager, accommodated all of our requests, including a custom cake.
Thanks to the staff's efforts, the day of the wedding was as relaxing as it was exciting. My husband and I exchanged rings under the villa's iconic olive tree and then, with our seven guests, we ate an incredible six-course meal featuring fresh Calabrian ingredients.
Everyone who attended the wedding fell in love with Villa Paola, from its gorgeous pool to its breakfast (you can eat endless local cheeses and eggs done any way you want while enjoying a breathtaking view of the coast and the town of Tropea).
The villa is walking distance from the amazing Rotonda Beach and the main town, making the location ideal as well.

Hotel ricavato da un ex convento, stile minimal, molto curato nei particolari. 24 ospiti e l’hotel è al completo… meglio di così per chi non ama la ressa!!!

Hotel sapientemente ricavato da un antico convento del 700 , decisamente elegante negli arredi che trasudano gusto e al tempo stesso sobrietà’. Tutto qui e’ curato nei minimi dettagli , a partire dal personale che e’ gentilissimo e discreto .Colazioni pranzi e cene tutto perfetto . Il giardino poi e’ curato come i fiori che ne fanno da cornice . Bellissima anche la piscina.

Location esclusiva per cene molto importanti o eventi.
La villa offre sia le camere per pernottare che un ristorante inserito nella guida Michelin.
Livello di attenzione ai dettagli altissimo.
I giardini sono curati ed è possibile utilizzare la piscina.
c'è la palestra, poco attrezzata e il solarium con i lettini.
Posto molto romantico e abbastanza costoso, ma prezzo in linea con la qualità offerta.
peccato per la palestra.

When we booked the accommodation, I thought it looked too good for be true. But the hotel exceeded all our expectations! We stayed there one week in end of May. The garden was blossoming at the time we were there, which made the garden incredibly beautiful, like a fairy tale. However, the thing that made this hotel to be the best hotel I have stayed at was the staff! Everyone was super friendly and polite, they made us feel welcomed and they didn't hesitate to help us with booking wine tasting or answer any question we made had. Our experience would not have been the same if it wasn't for the staff and their excellent level of service.

Esperienza emozionante ed unica, un ex convento dei frati dell'Ordine dei Minimi ristrutturato in una villa immersa nella natura. Ideale per chi cerca relax e riservatezza. Alberi secolari, giardini con colori primaverili della piante mediterranee si affacciano sul borgo di Tropea, profumi unici e tipici di questa meravigliosa terra di Calabria. Ad accoglierci e guidarci Deborah e Luca, molto gentili, professionali!! Genuinità e prodotti del territorio ben valorizzati.
Un'esperienza da assaporare con tutti i sensi.

Un ex monastero adesso riconvertito come boutique hotel e ristorante. Semplicemente incredibile in ogni suo dettaglio.

Unica pecca per un 5 stelle bagno troppo piccolo e camera troppo spoglia.
