Rentrer chez Zet’Joe, c’est entrer dans la maison du chef Geert Van Hecke et y découvrir son univers, sa vision de la gastronomie et son intérêt pour l’art. Que vous choisissiez l’un des deux menus proposés ou les plats à la carte, le choix sera toujours ajusté en fonction de l’offre du marché. Des plats « classiques » réalisés avec grand raffinement et intensité. Le plus du chef ? La sauce ! Il faut absolument y aller pour comprendre. La réservation est vivement conseillée.

Wow, I wanted to share our terrible dinner experience at that restaurant and saw Holly’s review - another guest who posted a day ago. I agree with her every word! We’ve been all around the world, dined in the best restaurants, 1-2-3 Michelin starred and that was a joke! Maybe restaurant changed their chef? The food was mediocre. Also, the front manager or sales person- I am not sure how to call him- was super pushy and made us feel uncomfortable. He came to us every 2 minutes when we were deciding on the menu. A La carte - the price for 1 appetizer is 65-75 euros? Seriously? In the end we left without waiting for the desert (which was next in the Het Vlakke Land prefix) just because wanted to finish this awful experience. Beautiful city of Bruges deserves better! P.S. We never paid 18 euros for a bottle of water.

Wonderful meal, perfect for a special occasion. The appetizer of different tomatoes was absolutely amazing. The presentation on all dishes was outstanding.

After eating here, I legit feel like I've been scammed by Michelin. No way this compares to the many other Michelin starred restaurant I've been in, and I'm trying not to be a snob (414 euros for 2, it hurts a bit, and honestly never been charged for the 'welcome champagne, 36 euros at that'). Scallops didn't taste like scallops and had a strong flavor of soap. Main dishes were unflavorful, poorly tasting, and poorly cooked (rice uneatable, salmon flavors poor, missing an option on the menu, over seasoning of the crab) and overall not good or imaginable. 1 out of 2 desserts were also uneatable because of the flavors (strong curry ice cream, get out of here, gross). After a rhythmic meal, suddenly desserts were delayed over 40 minutes and I had to ask for them (and in the meantime, the cleaning crew had time to scrub and clean the entire kitchen-ugh). The only other couple in the restaurant were also upset and uncomfortable at the end. Sorry but this restaurant is not deserving of a michelin star, and even on Google, they deserve less than 2 stars. Front of house was it's saving grace.

Edit: Apparently they flagged my negative review and they got it removed. Everything posted is the truth and my spouse can attest to it.

Mooie zaak al zit je heel dicht bij de andere tafels. Ietwat te gejaagd ipv rust vandaar dat we op max 2h buiten waren en dat voor de ganse menu. Bepaalde hapjes en vooral dessert ondermaats voor zo'n zaak. Voor en hoofd gerecht top . Conclusie wij waren teleurgesteld en zouden dit niet aanraden aan vrienden.
