HÔTEL 'T ZAND ^{* * *}

We got here for a little weekend getaway yesterday. I have to say this lady at the front desk was somehow determined to ruin the guest's arrival experience. It was my boyfriend who booked the room but on the wrong date via agora by accident. He cancelled it immediately and directly got an available room from the hotel at the desk. This lady all of sudden says that the room for the next weekend was not a free cancellation implying that we need to pay (like she thought we are stupid enough to pay this?) though we got the free cancellation confirmation from agora. I told her the hotel needs to talk to agora. We booked it through the agora agency and whether the hotel gets the fund or not from agora is not our business. The room we got today, we are paying directly to the hotel and two reservations are completely unrelated matters. Yet, she stood there telling me in my face in a very condescending tone that "we are doing you a favor by giving you the last available room today." I don't know who in the world she thinks she is but this hotel better puts some sense in her head and gets her some hospitality 101 basic course unless the hotel believes that this is the hotel's standard way of treating a guest. She really wasted our time repeating this conversation over and over like a parrot without a clear objectives, and tried to ruin the experience for no reason. The other guy next to her tried to stop her but she just wouldn't shut up. I'm really not sure what her goal in this conversation was though I made it clear that she needs to contact agora and settle. Never recommend this hotel and will never be back. There are plenty of other new, boutique hotels with this price range in the area. Not worth dealing with this kind of Airbnb level hospitality which I found it extremely unprofessional. Plus the bed mattress sinks on one side only so deep you will feel your back and neck pain in the morning. So much for a 4 star hotel. Completely horrendous experience from the beginning to the very end.

Emplacement proches du parking et du centre ville agréable la chambre a besoin de quelques travaux niveau prise sinon le reste rien à dire personnel a l accueil très accueillant

Other peoples reviews almost made me not book but after 2 nights in Feb, I was really glad we gave it a chance. Super good hotel for the price in Brugge, sweet staff, great location and very comfy beds. The onsite restaurant next door has just opened after 9 months renovation and its a really beautiful space.

Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that the WiFi in our rooms was really bad and there's no kettle in the room to make coffee in the mornings.

Punaises de lits dans la chambre , rien de plus à dire.

Goede service, heerlijk ontbijt, gastvrijheid. Bed en deken koud, klimaat moeilijk in te stellen (of werkte mogelijk in mijn geval niet), bij inschakeling van de klimaatbeheersing brandt er een fel groen licht, irritant in het donker. Verder een aanrader gezien mooie kamer, parkeren, locatie in het centrum etc.
