Rooms were nice. Beds were a bit stiff for me but still comfortable. Service, as always in Oman, was excellent. Basic Internet was okay for browsing but not strong enough for uploading and downloading a lot of data like photos and videos.
The breakfast buffet is okay and the dinner is good (tho slightly bland) with a lot of options.
The lobby and the interior area with the pool are stunning.
Our room was very nice but a little run down: stains on the sofa and the currains seemed pretty dirty.
Breakfast is phantastic with a great selection of foods and drinks and you can have fresh omelets.
Our ice packs were frozen in overnight and We got instructions for the Green Mountains (although it would’ve been even better to mention, that at the bottom of the Green Mountains all vehicles will be stopped and checked if 4WD (or 4x4) is available and instructions given how to drive up and down). Without 3WD it’s not worth going there at all.
On our first night We drive to Nizwa to have dinner in downtown.
We had on our last night the barbecue & buffet beside the pool and it was great food, beautifully displayed and really delicious.
One point minus: the desert was served with small plastic spoons with really sharp edzés which cut my lips.
When I told the staff, there were very nice, but told me to use a big spoon (for soups) for the small creme bowls.
The hotel has (!) small spoons, as they had them for breakfast.
All in all our stay was very relaxing especially at the pool area, (where it can be partly a little busy if there are children).
Absolutely recommended!
