Every time I come here with someone, they always leave satisfied saying that it’s one of the best meals they’ve ever had. The ordering and seating remind me of kind of eating style that you see in Asia overall fantastic.

Price effective menu with generous portion sizes, with quick, punctual service. You could be in and out in 30 minutes but you’ll want to stay for longer. Beautiful restaurant for any casual meal and meet up. Get there early because it fills up and they deserve the traffic.

I got twice cooked pork belly and beef noodle soup for takeout and both were incredible flavorless.. I don't know I just picked a wrong day or wrong menu but was very disappointed :(

I live next to the SGV and this place is probably the closest someone in Silver Lake will get to the real thing. The flavors taste a tiny bit watered down for the local audience but not a huge amount. Good if you're trapped and can't get to the SGV.

10 out of 10! LOVE the beef noodle soup and beef roll! The teas are really good as well!????

Wait outside for over 30 minutes, and inside, we were told there would be another 30 minutes. I believe that's very unprofessional. They should let people know ahead of time to wait.

This was one of the two places i visited on new year's and by far the better of the two restaurants!

So happy with their lu rou fan!!! Realmy brings me back to taiwan. The other dishes: dumplings, tantan noodles were on par with what I've eaten in Taipei and Tainan, and dare I say better. The only difference being the price, nearly 10x, but that's the reality of living in LA.

My friends were happy as well, and it was a great way to introduce some of them to my culture as well. Thank you Pine and Crane!

Good quality but lacked finesse. Noodles needed crunch of peppers and vegetables and protein like tofu.

Delicious food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. I highly recommend sharing the peanut salad as a side!

Its good. I wouldnt say its the best taiwanese restaurant in LA but i do recommend it. I was not impressed by the beef roll and their milk teas are not that good. The shrimp wontons were really good and the three cup chicken was also good.

Overpriced. Been to Taiwan several times, this place would receive a 1 star over there because of the quality to price ratio. The beef wrap has barely any beef. I received a sore just waiting to be seated for 1 hour, for genuinely mediocre Taiwanese food. Don't do Taiwanese in silver lake, go to an actual Asian area like Rowland heights, San Gabriel monterrey Park etc. Noodle street beef wraps are wayyyyy better.

I love me some Pine and Crane! My wife and I eat here every week. She’s vegan and loves their Taiwanese cabbage and cold salads. I’ve worked my way through the menu and everything is great. The staff is also friendly and helpful.

Just wow. One of the best restaurants in California. Having lived in four different cities across CA, I genuinely mean it. From always amazing service to the fresh and delicious food. The pricing is so reasonable as well. Always have the best time here.

And on top of that, they serve high quality teas. For me as a tea business owner is a huge deal ????

Dan dan mien이 맛있는 식당입니다.

금요일 저녁에 방문했고, 15-20분 대기 후 community table에 앉았습니다. Dan dan mien, Pork mapo tofu, Scallion pancakes를 주문했습니다. 특히 Dan dan mien, mapo tofu를 추천합니다. Mapo tofu는 맵지 않고 부드럽습니다. Scallion pancake는 겉이 바삭하고 맛있지만, scallion 맛이 약합니다.

서비스는 좋지만, 분위기는 조금 시끄럽습니다.

minced pork on rice is good, three cup chicken is not so good, dandan noodle is great! overall, I probably wont come back.

How it works here is you order at the cashier then sit at the first available table after you pay. It’s very busy here. I ordered the Dan Dan noodles and it was AMAZING. And to drink I got a passion fruit green tea also really good. Recommend both ????

Crazy fast service, nice atmosphere, and solid food. Altogether was impressed but not blown away. Really like the pan fried pork buns and the mapo tofu. The chicken rice dish, cabbage, scallion pancakes, and bubble tea were ok

Came here at peak dinner hour on a Friday night. There was about a 20 person line but it moves fast. You order first then are seated.

Service is super friendly. There’s a great selection of beer and drinks specifically Taiwanese that I haven’t seen any where else.

Each dish is about $10-15 which isn’t bad. The pan fried pork buns are crisp at the bottom but still soft and pillowy on the top and have a juicy flavorful filling. My faves though were probably the beef roll and the beef noodle soup which is so comforting on a cold day. Next time I definitely want to try the scallion pancake.
