Ouvert dans les années 1980, Madeo Ristorante est un restaurant italien, un vrai. La réputation de cet élégant établissement tient en partie à l'atmosphère familiale unique qui règne aux fourneaux comme en salle. Autre richesse : la cuisine, sans aucun doute. Citons notamment le carpaccio, les gnocchi au pesto, ainsi que la soupe de poisson, préparés et servis à la perfection. Pour sa part, la clientèle est composée d'agents, de producteurs, d'acteurs et de médecins travaillant dans le célèbre hôpital Cedars-Sinai, qui se trouve non loin de là. Une valeur sûre !

The table they took us was in the back room right by the kitchen. We asked to change it and they told us that all tables are reserved and it will be 40min wait. When I pointed at other empty tables, only then they agreed to check on it.
While they were checking on the table, we decided to get a drink at the bar. There WASN’T anyone else besides us at that bar. Bartender took our order and hostess showed up saying that our table is ready. Bartender saw it but decided not to rush and instead of making us a drink, he was clearing glasses/chatting with another bartender/looking at some papers/counting cash at the register- anything but making us a drink. He started making it only when our patience was gone and we kindly asked him to make us a drink since our table was ready.
The only positive in this whole experience was our server (I believe his name was Michael). He was beyond amazing and he’s the only reason im giving it 2 stars and not 1.
