Not good vibes that’s all

For the first time staying at a hotel with its own personality (granted, I don't travel too often).

It is a standout with its unique rustic and verdant decor.
The thoughtful integration of plants, wooden textures, and local market produce gives the hotel a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

The rooms extend this inviting theme, combining comfort and style with breathtaking city views. The flexible breakfast schedule until 2 pm (genius!) is a thoughtful touch, accommodating all types of travelers.

Based on the distinctive personality and exceptional service, and location, I'll definitely stay here again.

This place was amazing! We were celebrating a birthday, and this was the perfect vibe. All the food we tried was so good! Ribeye and Branzino, wow, delicious!

Amazing, beautiful place, delicious dishes and cocktails. But the service is not very nice, some waiters are arrogant

Perfect location, excellent service, beautiful common areas and great size rooms. Just missing a set of drawers for clothing.

1. The attitude of the front desk is crazy. Literally everyone is extremely rude and not helpful at all + everything takes ages!

2. There is no free water in the room to be found?! This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel? Im in shook.

The bathrooms were disgusting and there was a hair in my food. I also watched a manager yell at a worker and be very rude

Hello there i'll make it quick and easy. This place is one of the most authentic and exquisite Italian restaurants on earth so lucky that its here in LA! Owner is still there in person and so sweet. Definitely try the truffle pasta I have had it everywhere and this one is by far superior. Enjoy guys!

I went to casa madera with my husband for our tenth anniversary and it was horrible! I might’ve accepted the exorbitant prices and watered-down cocktails if not for the abysmal atmosphere and depressed staff. I don’t blame the severs, however, because I saw a manager yell at one while gesticulating wildly and swearing for seemingly no reason. I do NOT recommend casa madera for anyone with a modicum of class or respect for food service workers.

Way too loud, too pretentious and expensive. Really not for people my age. It's really not worth the money. I was not there to people watch or to be seen. I wanted to have a nice birthday dinner.
Server was OK, but she didn't care about us. Little did she know that I'm a Restaurant Manager at a Beverly Hills steak restaurant and I would have normally left 30% tip, but I only left 20%. She forgot to put in our dessert drinks, so we had to cancel them, as apparently, the bartenders were too busy. Excuse me??
The busboy was nice and helpful but forgot things here and there.
The food is good, but NOT outstanding. And it's not worth the price. It is my fault that I booked here. I should have known that a restaurant on the Sunset Strip in a hotel would be pretentious and bougie.
The music is too loud and then this guy who walks around playing "Mediterranean" instruments on top of it is just really over the top and tacky! But if tis the bill. :-)
So, overall, not a terrible experience, but I wouldn't recommend this place to any serious adults.

Pasta there is too al dente. Like boiled for 1 minute only al dente… if ordering pasta just tell them you don’t want to chew on uncooked hard pasta.

I loved the location, service and the Pool View is incredible. Gym, sauna and other amenities that are worth the experience!

Was promised a king suite which is what I got….what they don’t tell you is that the room barely has any windows. It’s super dark and very uninviting. The service is atrocious, they really need to hire people that know how to put a smile on their face and talk with respect. The staff looks completely fed up ! The hotel is truly beautiful and really encompasses a “boho” laid back vibe. A good location but only if you’re into the night life. If you want something more laid back, stay In Beverly Hills and not WEHO

1 Hotel has out done themselves again. This emaculate west hollywood location is stunning. From the front entrance to the lobby area it is a serene place to visit and take you away from the daily grind of life. With their design to incorporate nature into their infrastructure to the teams friendliness and willing to help. Always making sure to go above and beyond with providing quality service.

I want to thank the following I had a daily encounter with.
Theo, Will , Andrea and Rebecca. They would always go above and beyond to see if I ever needed anything, where to eat or what activities to do.
Their smiles were contagious always saying hello to everyone walking by and their kind voices while conversing. There are other front desk team members but I don't remember all their names. The team is great overall.

1 Kitchen Team

This team is phenomenal from the time you are seated or ordering to go. They greet you with full on joy.
Always making suggestions if you are stuck on what delicious food you want to order to coming up with some cool coffee or tea ideas. I want to thank the front team first, this includes Jesse and Brianna.

Then Izzy, Eric, Gilbert, Behzad these guys were superb always joyful at the front smiling happy to be there and talk to their guests. You felt like you were a family catching up on old times.

Then to the other 1 Kitchen Team that would take care of me while I dined there.
Tasha, Philip, Justin and Joseph, Ricky. Amazing team who would guide you on a journey of food. So many delicious options. They would always be kind and make sure what you ordered you got the right way. If you needed a top up on your water coffee or other drinks they would make sure you were taken care of.

Compliments to Chef Ginger and her amazing team in the kitchen the food was epic!!! Keep using sustainable sources and keep up the amazing cuisine you serve. Hands down I loved all the food they have on the menu.

To the 1 hotel security team. These guys are amazing. Always walking around making sure that everyone was safe at all times.
Javier, Mark, David and I believe the other gentleman's name was Dwayne (sorry if I mispelled this).

The 1 hotel room attendant team.

Always on top of their game. When you needed some extra towels or pillows they brought it immediately to you. This team did such an amazing job day in and day out. Greeting you, saying good morning always smiling and making sure you were happy with the cleanliness of your room.

Overall I can not express enough how the 1 Hotel lives up to its name. It truly is the #1 in my books.

Nice and quite walkable location, reasonably quiet.

Hotel that makes the memory perfect in Los Angeles. The surroundings of the interior were all satisfying.

However!
The female staff (shoulder-length straight hair) who checked out around 6am on Feb. 12th is an exception. She had an attitude that didn't go with this hotel at all.(probably wouldn't feel it if you weren't Asian)
I'm thinking of visiting this hotel anytime, but if you have this staff, NEVER!
It's enough to make the pleasant experience there the worst.

Having explored every nook and cranny of Italy, I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant in Hollywood, CA that exudes authenticity and purity. The pasta served here easily ranks among the top three I've ever tasted in my entire life. As for the Ossobuco, it surpasses any previous encounter I've had with this dish, leaving an indelible mark on my taste buds. Each plate presented an exquisite blend of textures and an unrivaled richness that truly elevated the dining experience to stellar heights. The desserts, oh, the desserts! They were a sinful indulgence, transporting me to a realm of pure bliss. The drinks, meticulously crafted, were nothing short of perfection. The service and hospitality bestowed upon us were unparalleled, with every detail attended to by the attentive and genuinely sincere staff. To my astonishment, the owners themselves graced our table, ensuring our utmost satisfaction. This remarkable establishment deserves not just five or even a hundred stars, but a staggering 10,000 stars.

Good food good service

Anytime I come to LA from NYC I always make it a point to stop at Madeo. The penne madeo is so simple yet it’s probably the best pasta dish I’ve ever had ! Service food always on point I wish they had an east coast location.

Fanciest restaurant I've been to

The Rooney family used to have family dinner every Sunday night at madeos... What a wonderful feeling being back in the same atmosphere....

I was only here for 45 mins to film a group dining, and they still charged $24 for valet WITH validation … the crooks ???? I will now never dine here

This is just for reservation purposes. The female hostess is very rude and only makes exceptions/ accommodates people who “she knows their name”. I understand if you are booked but there is a polite way of treating and speaking to people.

Unfortunately, I manage a client that would’ve been a great, high value customer as they are at other premier BH locations where they often buyout for events. Totally turned off by the attitude and will not call back.
