De la volaille, de la volaille, et... de la volaille. Voici ce que propose Howlin' Ray's. Après avoir goûté au « hot chicken » – du poulet frit – la spécialité de Nashville, dans le Tennessee, le chef Johnny Ray Zone a un déclic : bien qu'il ait travaillé aux côtés de grands noms tels que Thomas Keller, Gordon Ramsay et Nobu Matsuhisa, c'est ce plat qu'il veut cuisiner et décliner sous toutes ses formes. Un souhait qu'il a d'abord exaucé par le biais d'un food-truck, avant de s'installer à Chinatown en 2015. Une excellente adresse, à ne pas manquer !

The best chicken I have ever had.. The picture below is the Mario Style. With fries, slaw, pickles and come back sauce. Absolutely amazing!! We came all the way from Yuma, AZ to try it and we will definitely be back next time we go to LA.

I heard about this place all the way from the east coast and decided to give it a try when I was in LA for the day. Hands down the best hot chicken sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. We waited about 30 minutes and it’s well worth it. If this is out of your way, make the time because you won’t be disappointed. They don’t joke around with their spice so be warned! Can’t wait to come back again in the future.

Recommend ordering ahead because waiting in line doesn’t add to the experience or anything and it’s about an hour wait.
The sandwich was 100/10 and the fries were the best I’ve ever had in my life- make sure to get the comeback sauce with them.
Mac n cheese is nothing to write home about same with the banana pudding but they both add a nice touch to the meal.
