Cet hôtel somptueux a ouvert ses portes en janvier 2018, dans le bâtiment qui abritait autrefois la Banque d'Italie, sur l'imposante Giannini Place de Downtown. Le luxe à la fois ultramoderne et néoclassique de cet établissement est le fruit de la collaboration de l'architecte d'intérieur français Jacques Garcia et du studio de création parisien Be-Pôles. Notez le plafond peint dans les tons bleus, de style italianisant : il date de la construction du bâtiment dans les années 1920. Un bar à cocktails, aux créations signées du très branché mixologue Leo Robitschek, ainsi qu'un restaurant italien, dirigé par les chefs Daniel Humm et Will Guidara, complètent ce rêve américano-italien, pour un séjour au luxe ultra hype. Sa situation géographique très centrale, dans un quartier qui se découvre facilement à pied, est idéale.

The building is incredible - the former headquarters for Bank of America! They kept the original structure and hardware in the restaurant, which is beautiful. The hotel combines it's history with unique, eccentric furniture in a way that blends together naturally.
Tall ceilings in the thoughtfully designed rooms. Recommend!
Staff were so accommodating, breakfast and dinner are excellent - nice touch with the free dessert and free wine at dinner.
This is our new go to hotel for our LA visits and the experience makes it a lovely home away from home setup

Room is smaller, but carefully designed and appointed. No space is wasted. Water pressure in the large shower is a rare dream in a hotel and large bathtub fills quickly (the shelf by the tub doubled as an iPad stand to catch up on my shows). Shower door closes from floor to ceiling so you can really enjoy a steamy shower without fogging up the room. Closet is spacious and even includes a clothing steamer. Very little noise from adjacent rooms.
Pool/rooftop is really lovely. Restaurant staff are great. Room had a very minor issue and guest services offered to move me to a lovely room right away (but I kept my cozy one). Maybe I’m easily persuaded by charming details and nice staff, but it seems clear that a lot of effort goes into making the hotel feel like a good value for guests.
