Janis Joplin est morte d'une overdose ici, chambre 105. Depuis, c'est comme si le temps s'était arrêté dans ce petit hôtel à l'air désuet, situé dans un coin calme et arboré de ce que fut le vieil Hollywood avec ses maisons de bois et ses jardins. Les 70 chambres ont la télévision, l’air conditionné et le téléphone. Piscine. Wi-Fi gratuit dans le lobby. Un lieu stratégique pour profiter du quartier.

Stayed there years ago. Room 105. My company was a bottle of Southern Comfort. Smashed my rental car into the iron gates overlooking the pool. Wondering if it ever got fixed.........

It's a blessing to be at the highland gardens. I love it here. The staff and the good vibes...plus it's walking distance to the Hall of Fame Hollywood's Stars.

Hi im staying here 16/9-17/9. The hotel so much smelling and full of pictures of their god in the hotels. Which is not comfortable if tourist to stay (my oponion). I & husband cannot sleep because the smells are too strong we also request to changed comforter and spray some fragrance but it didn’t worked.. basically I’m not satisfied. The price quite expensive rm272 for one night, this is bad for me since I’m pregnant and i can’t enjoying staying here..

I always stay in this place when I am in LA. It is a family business and owners are very nice people. Yes it is bit outdated but location is excellent , very good vibes and comfy apartments.
