Going to be coming back for sure. ????
Our reservation is at 6 pm on Thursday and we’ve arrived at 5:20 pm. Took us to a corner patio table beside the wall with a minimal view of the ocean and sunshine when there was a large space of available seatings. I asked the server if we could switch to a table over there and he told me those seatings were closed today because of windy weather, but actually they were available and fully occupied by those who came later than us????what’s the point for us to make the reservation and arrive early? For food, corn chowder and lobster risotto are good, but others are terrible: 1) we found sand in oysters…plz don’t tell me it’s fresh. We’ve been to many other restaurants and they did a great job in cleaning; 2) ordered a medium-rare ribeye and this would be the worst one we’ve had. The outer layer is full of burns and I don’t think it’s due to Maillard's reaction. The first piece is totally overcooked. The server took the ribeye away and later came back and showed that the chef cut the other piece and said it’s normal that some parts are overcooked…if that would be a case I could even make a better steak. The other piece is rare, which is very funny to see such a dichotomy on a steak. Last but not least, we did not receive a little cake that we were informed when we made the reservation for our anniversary dinner. We did not expect a cake but if you told us you would please at least do so…It’s our first time choosing a non-Michelin restaurant to celebrate our special occasion, but turns out it ruined our night. I think we should still go for some insured good restaurants in the future if that would take us 3 hrs to drive back and forth. Overall, not recommended at all.
