I wanted to surprise my wife with a quick overnight getaway to Santa Barbara. We have a 11 month old daughter and I booked a room through their website.. I misunderstood their child policy and when we arrived they informed us that only their large cottage rooms allow children and not the small room I booked. I was fully prepared to go somewhere else as this was totally my fault. But the owner instead upgraded us to a larger room that would work for us at no extra charge. We are extremely grateful for his hospitality. This place is absolutely amazing, very clean, and tidy. We enjoyed our stay and their breakfast continental was delicious. All their staff was very very kind and helpful.. their text app is amazing as well. Overall I highly recommend this place to stay.

We absolutely love this place!! 2nd time staying here and want to stay in every room! Great location for some State St. Fun. Just a wonderful place with wonderful people.

We stayed here 20 years ago and it is still as charming as ever. The staff is wonderful. They serve a lovely breakfast. Overall, good value!
