Installé dans le luxueux Balboa Bay Resort, cet établissement chic est doté d'une superbe terrasse avec une vue imprenable sur Lido Isle et, derrière, Balboa Peninsula. Si l'on y vient essentiellement pour le cadre, dont on profite avec un bon verre de vin, A+O sert une cuisine fraîche et raffinée. Assiette de burrata et tomates, salades, burger avec un bun brioché, club sandwich, coquilles Saint-Jacques poêlées, steak servi avec des frites au parmesan… La carte est aussi petite qu'alléchante. Attention, réservations indispensables pour manger à l'extérieur.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience at A+O Restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special dining experience in Newport Beach.

Our waitress was fun and friendly. The crab cakes tasted flavorful and was paired with a delicious sauce. I decided to try the AO burger with their veggie patty and it was SO GOOD! The caramelized onions and 1000 island sauce on it was amazing! What stood out to me was the brioche bun that was cooked to perfection and tasted wonderful. My mom ordered the Cesar salad with salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and so were the homemade croutons.
The views here while dining are great. There is complimentary parking at the resort for the restaurant. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves, the food, service, and the views.
This place has been added to the brunch rotation for sure!
