I felt confident walking in, having already confirmed my diet verbally and written prior to the reservation. I was informed that one dish could not be worked around and was prepared to let my partner eat that portion but was surprised that a few other courses included eggs and dairy while they seemed to correctly omit it for other courses. So it seemed odd that certain courses they prepared me something different for my diet while other courses they didn’t (and found through my partner asking afterwards what was in the dishes after feeling a little skeptical and stomach bloated).
Overall really wanted to enjoy the experience but felt kind of disappointed that we payed a $900 bill for a reservation and explaining dietary situation weeks prior. I have been to other Michelin stars that were easily able to accommodate my diet or promptly tell me they could not.
