The Inn at Death Valley se devait d'avoir un restaurant à la hauteur de son standing : le Inn Dining Room. L'établissement propose un repas raffiné pour le petit-déjeuner et le dîner, avec une vue imprenable sur les marais salants du désert et les montagnes de Panamint. Si le temps le permet, le service est disponible sur la terrasse de l'auberge. Les saveurs locales telles que le cactus, les agrumes, la datte et même la grenade du jardin de l'auberge sont mises en valeur dans les plats du menu. Tenue correcte exigée (T-shirt et shorts ne sont pas autorisés).

Stayed in a 1-bedroom casita for one night when visiting temporary Lake Manly. The room was clean, comfortable, and charming; each casita had a golf cart that could be used to traverse the property. The grounds were serene with meandering stone pathways linking benches overlooking ponds, fountains, and pastures. Kind and accommodating staff.
Prices were on par with what one might expect to pay to stay at a national park lodge, even on weekdays; however, the Inn is a convenient location for exploring Death Valley National Park, and the shuttle that runs between the Inn and the Ranch makes it easy to enjoy the amenities of both properties.
A limited number of EV chargers are available (Blink, first come first served), but may be out of service, so call ahead or check PlugShare to see their status before you visit, as the closest Tesla superchargers are in Beatty (48 mi), Lone Pine (106 mi), Baker (113 mi), or Ridgecrest (133 mi). We had no issues charging, but have a backup plan or plan to use a hybrid/gas car from the get-go.

You have to keep in mind where this place is. Based on that it probably rates 6 stars. The staff is terrific. The place lost power and everyone made the experience ok. The rooms are fine. The restaurant is pretty good The staff as I said is really really good. If you are going to Death Valley (and you should, it is nothing like you think) then just stay here. Book a few nights. Use the pool. The bartender is excellent. Enjoy the park. And be thankful that this oasis is even here. And book a tour with Farrabee's. Death-defying.

Great location!! Service could have been better. Needed to wait for checking in to the room even after the promised 4 pm check in time.

Terribly managed establishment. There's a line of more than 35 people trying to check in. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

We visited shortly after the Hurricane game in October of ‘23. Not everything was open. Still a wonderful stage.
