My husband and I stopped by here with a day pass to enjoy the hot springs water. It was a wonderful place I will gladly visit again. There are four private very hot water pools with a shower and a door that locks so you can enjoy your complete privacy surrounded by white stucco walls and artistic murals. It has a very cool and old Pompeii meets California desert vibe. There is no ceiling, just a canopy that filters sunlight so it feels outdoorsy. Those are limited to 30 min each but the water is so hot that we didn’t last more than 10 min.

Then there is the main pool that is perfect warm temperature and four other round hot tubs around the pool with also very hot water. We went on Monday and there was hardly anybody there so we enjoyed it all. A restaurant is available on the property with 6-7 bbq options from sandwiches to brisket and pulled port entree. It isn’t a big menu but perfect to just get lunch and get back into the pools (it isn’t open Tuesday and Wednesday heads up). This might not be the same on a crowded day but we really lucked out.

Loved that we didn’t have any service so we could really disconnect. Day pass price on a week day is totally worth it for all the amazing properties of this water and all pools and clean and very well maintained. It was a desert spa experience!

The serene desert setting is lovely & peaceful. Somewhat isolated so that the nearby Barbecue lounge cafe (an experience itself) Is your only choice within half an hr for food. The mineral pools are lovely & there are clean showers adjacent. However the cabins are old & substandard. There was not hot water at our sink. The cabin for two is one large rather rundown room with the toilet & sink separated from the bed by a few feet & a short curtain. The towels supplied in the room were thin with holes in 2 of them. Calling it a “Resort” is a bit of a stretch until some upgrading &
modernization of the cabins is done. At that point I would return & could recommend it to friends.

Used to go there before they revamped it it was really cool they didn't really allow children there so that was really nice you can walk around naked in a robe which is really nice. And the best part then was they didn't have a TV or radio or even service for your cell phone so you got detached I'm not sure what happens now but I want to go back

Pool is lovely. The place is run down and the rooms are very dated and not pleasant though the mattress seemed new and was comfortable. The man who checked us in was rude for no apparent reason.

You really need to make sure you can make the reservation. There's no extenuating circumstances policies. My boyfriend and I have been going to Delights one - three times a year, for the past few years. Never an issue. Always an enjoyable experience. We were definitely looking forward to going for my birthday next week, but we have both fallen ill, and there is little chance of us recovering in time to make the trip. Called to see if we could move the reservation.

No. Nothing. No grace. I've never come across a place that didn't at least have some sort of extenuating circumstances policies.

So, if you decide to book here, make damn sure nothing happens to keep you from staying. They do not care.

Oh, and they'll tell you it's, "the system". Which is pretty much pure baloney. There's always a way.

My fiancé and I like this little grimy gem in a very desolate part of the Mojave Desert. They have added to their facility and the accommodations/Hotsprings plus the 24 hour ability to soak is the heart of this unique resort. For us it’s a fairly close drive and something we like to do on occasion however, that’s changing a bit for us. I once gave it a five star rating however, we find sometimes wondering if we should choose another spot. The resort fee they charge is very high and not a state tax. It’s just something they choose to charge. The cleanliness of the rooms is sub par, dusty and pretty gross at times. The pools are clean and that’s what makes this place even get the 3 star rating. For the high prices, show some pride in detailing the rooms. We also a notice that when we encounter a staff member he is rude and condescending. We always treat him nice but for some reason he acts as though we are an inconvenience, even if it’s to stop and say hi. The old guy in the office is great but the guy with the dress and glasses, not so much.

We have brought some friends with us and have been loyal customers but that is changing. Hope this review helps.

Great place just outside of Death Valley to stay and relax with your dogs (let them know you are bringing 4 legged friends). Best bbq place (also has great beer for those who enjoy some brew) at the entrance. Nice clean private hot tubs that you can enjoy (30 minutes at time). So nice to wind down after dusty day of exploring ????

Delight Hot springs is just that, it is delightful. The property is beautifully decorated and the springs are magnificent. There is a large outdoor pool at 92 F and 4 smaller outdoor pools at 103 F. There are also 4 private indoor hot pools that are available which are also lovely. We stayed in cabin #1 and it was perfect. It has heat and air conditioning if needed, a stove and a refrigerator. There are also dishes and pans if available. All the resort water is spring water which is good for washing but you will have to bring your own drinking water. The cabin has a screened back porch works well for watching sunsets. There are rooms, cabins and camper sites. There is no cell or Wi-Fi in most of the area. Delight Hot Springs is the jewel of Tecopa and is an excellent desert escape.

I love Delights Hot Springs. I visited a couple of weeks ago with my friend Fawnda and it was so relaxing and wonderful. I recommend staying here as the room was clean, private and quiet. If you are looking for some R&R away from it all come here!!!! I look forward to the next trip to Delights hopefully soon as I live in Kansas City!

SUPER scary place. I was scared for my life. Shaved skin head guy started rage-screaming at me, threatening me, said he was calling the sheriff to arrest me for trespassing, and then physically chased me into the parking lot to my car, me a single female who happened to (very nicely) ask why he would "bait and switch" me on a reservation once I arrived, one I had even confirmed by phone previously. Screaming and physical threats have no place anywhere, but certainly not in the hospitality industry. I was scared for my life, espeically then to have to sleep in my car on the other side of town (with nowhere to stay). BIPOC be aware. Don't ever go here and be alert. The place was very dirty and run-down anyway. Didn't resemble the pictures at all. Stay far away.

Anyone saying this place is awesome is not being truthful. They don't provide refunds because the place is a run down dump in my opinion. When we were there the room was FILTHY, had no running water, no heat and no working toilet. Happy to provide pictures and will be making a complaint to the BBB and the DCA.

I love this little out of the way place. It's fairly rugged in places but they have nice little private tubs with natural hot springs that are available all day when you are starting at the resort. They also have an outdoor pool and hot tubs.

If you love hot springs, this is a unique place you should visit. It's in a small town on the out skirts of Death Valley, in Tecopa, California. This is my 3rd time staying here, and the place is under new management. They have made it look brighter with new paint on the buildings, inside and out. They also added an outdoor swimming pool and more hooks to hang wet clothing and towels in the rooms.
They have 4 private hot spring pools that are clothing optional. They range in temperature around 104 to 110 degrees. There is a 30-minute time limit for the private pools. If all the private pools are occupied, there is a nice waiting area with lounge chairs. If no one is out waiting, you can keep soaking. The outdoor pool is clothing required that is heated to 98 degrees. There are 4 hot tubs surrounding the outdoor pool that are about the same temps as the private pools. There are no time limits.
There are a variety of sleeping arrangements, from mobile homes and cabins to camping. Our room was a cabin with a queen bed, a kitchenette with basic supplies, a full stove, a microwave, a mini fridge, and a coffee maker. The bathroom only had a toilet and vanity. The only showers on the property were in the private pools. I wish they would change that. There is free Wi-Fi, but it really only works in the office area by the private pools and its spotty. You might get lucky in your room. Another thing I wish they would change.
There are no small children at the resort. It's a quiet place.

I love the pool and hot springs but the room we stayed in was filthy and run down. In very poor shape. My husband has a list of all the violations. We paid around 300 a night for this disaster. It was the only one available with a kitchen and WiFi. Sadly I found another place called Death Valley Hot springs while we were staying there and it was so nice and clean and furnished nicely. I really wish we had gone there.

We loved the main ‘warm’ pool and adjoining hot tubs the most. There is also private tubs which are hotter..so you can only spend up to 30 mins in them, which was plenty. I could not tell if it was chlorinated or not. The bathrooms were clean, just old. The front office staff could be a little bit more friendly. But all in all the place was exactly what I expected. The campground is where we stayed and was basic but fine. Not Calistoga style but also not Calistoga prices. We will return.

This place is super cute I did not stay in the rooms I just used the hot springs. Unfortunately I think they chlorinate the springs and I had a pretty bad reaction to that and the combo of minerals. I am sensitive to many things but I’ve been to the resort across the way and I did not have that kind of response to their water. I enjoyed myself and would maybe spend the night here but utilize the springs in other parts of this small town rather. If you are not sensitive like me I bet you’ll enjoy yourself!

Neat place. Will go back. Claims wifi, but never worked when I was there. Main, outside pool and spas were immaculate! Private ones were ok, but the main ones really set the bar high! Great vibe. I didn't stay in a room, but I got to see one. Very basic, but very clean. It's not a 5 star resort, but it's 5 stars for what it is. It is the desert, so take that into consideration. This trip was at the end of January, and by 10:30 am it was getting pretty warm. Perfect in the shade thou. Had we stayed longer, would have to put up the awning. I can't imagine being there in the summer. ????
