The food, service, and atmosphere was impeccable. The mushroom risotto was outstanding, and the Amarone was exquisite. Thanks for a wonderful evening after the rugby.

Small 20 seater restaurant that managed to fit me in, travelling solo on a business trip.

Service was really friendly. The starter (scallops) and main course I had (veal) were both amazing. Will definitely come back here with my partner. Recommended!

Very nice very old fashioned BUT I did not like the hand written bill which gave the price for all the starters then all the mains. Nothing itemised, don't trust that!,

We went there for a spontaneous dinner.
Surprisingly they don't offer any pizza but their pasta is really delicous. Especially the ones with salmon were delightful!

The menu is quite small (just 2 pages) and in general the place is rather small (there are around 7-10 tables). It's a bit expensive but definitely worth it.

Cosy restaurant, very busy on a weeknight. Food was good but overall, a bit pricey. Established clientele, and we saw some celebrating and clearly known to staff. Best reserve seats ahead. We were lucky to get a place.

We went here for a work dinner, not being from Edinburgh I booked this online based on the reviews. It does look very romantic from the outside as it's quite small, about 9 tables.
The service, food and atmosphere were outstanding and really happy we found it. Everyone enjoyed their food; a good choice of wines and the gentleman serving us were so warm and friendly.
We visited on a Thursday evening as a group of 6 and we were really looked after

We just happened along this quaint little restaurant on our way to the airport to head home to Canada from a Fantastic Holiday roaming around Scotland. Great food and atmosphere.
