Really great vegan and vegetarian options here and all labeled well on the menu! I got lunch here twice on my trip to Edinburgh just so I could try more of their menu. The pastry for everything I got was perfect. The vegan haggis roll was really nice - I’ve never had regular haggis so not sure how it compares but the flavor was really enjoyable. The Moroccan spiced bean bake had a really great filling. The potato roll was the perfect texture and so good. The mushroom vergas and the vegan sausage roll were both really good but nothing special - don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed them and would get them again but the other things that I tried I just liked better.
I thought the prices for everything were very fair.
The only thing that was a bit of an issue was that there is not much seating. Fortunately most of their pies/rolls look easy to eat on the go so you don’t necessarily need to sit to eat them.

Di passaggio, abbiamo assaggiato alcune Ale Pie niente male. Buona materia prima, calde, buona varietà.
Consigliato per uno spuntino in pieno centro a Edimburgo.

Lovely pies and coffee. I highly recommend the Scotch and Haggis pies. Sets you up for the day and the price is very reasonable. A must try when in Edinburgh.

ハギスパイ(3ユーロ)をテイクアウトしました。生地はサクサクで、なめらかなマッシュポテトとしっかり味付けされたお肉が美味しかったです。店内は狭いですが、温かいうちに食べた方が美味しいと思います！またエディンバラに来たら行きたいです。

The food was great, a good snack to keep you going. My girlfriend and I got the fiery cheese dog. We decided to get another pastry to try. Unfortunately, when I went up to order another pastry for my girlfriend the cashier (the balding east asian man) whispered under his breath "Could you not have ordered that earlier?" and turned his back to me.

I politely asked him if he said what I thought he did he sheepishly said "no I did not" and again turned his back to me, proceeding to spend the rest of his time in the back room. It's a shame his service and demeanour was so despicable, as his colleague who came out afterwards had great customer service.

Had to try them all, but their signature haggis pies are top shelf. The guy was very nice as well. He felt sorry that my wife couldn't bake pies so he gave me one for the road. ????

Delicious pies with plenty of options (including vegetarian). Good prices, you can either take away or have a quick bite at the stools available. Pies were fresh and they came out hot. Would recommend if you’re busy or just need to grab something to have on the way
