Great place for a breakfast or a coffee. Excellent service, and very lovely staff. Reasonable price for area and delicious food, good options for vegetarians too!!

Food is average, but prices are extortionate. £35 for eggs royale and a panini with a diet coke and a tea. People were nice but still, I know this is in the Royal Mile but there are a lot of other nicer cafes to go for that price.

They were very friendly and the food was fantastic! Quick and thoughtful service. The bacon, Brie, and cranberry panini was delicious and I would highly recommend!!

We stopped in on a whim after a long day of walking the busy streets of Edinburgh and the quiet space with good coffee, friendly staff and amazing soup was just perfect. Highly recommend!

Horrible. Tourist trap. Avoid this place, if you don't wanna pay for one small plate of "traditional english breakfast" almost 15 pounds.

My young child picked this place for a quick bite as we waited for his brother to finish his nearby swimming lesson as it was too warm at the pool. It’s your typical slightly shabby tourist café with an overpriced basic menu, but was clean and initially welcoming. The lentil soup was lukewarm (despite being warned that it was hot) and I wouldn’t have guessed it had any lentil in it. What really set this place apart though was the proprietors attitude. Having asked for the bill we were told we would have to wait 10-15 minutes as the card machine wasn’t working. When I tried to explain that I had to go pick up my other child his demeanour abruptly changed and I was tersely told “you are on my time, I am not on yours”. I was also accused of lying when I said I did not have any ID (which for the record I did not) to leave behind to come back and pay later. We waited, but I ended up with 2 upset children, one because of the “mean man” and the other because I was late for pick up. Needless to say, we will not be returning here in future. Given there are several excellent cafés nearby I’d also recommend others pass this one by.

Um ambiente simples e confortável. O atendimento é muito eficiente e cortês. Provei o salada com salmão defumado. Uma delícia. Ótima relação custo-benefício. Vale a pena conhecer. Recomendo.

El lugar es muy agradable, desayunamos dos días seguidos y la comida es estupenda. Es un negocio pequeño y acogedor. Las personas que te atienden son muy atentas. Altamente recomendable (El desayuno tradicional, los pancakes, muffins con aguacate ???? y café 10/10)????
