A unos 20-25 min andando del centro. Se puede coger un autobús (23 o 27). Muy agradable. Baños algo antiguos. Keiko es muy atenta. Durante nuestra estancia no pudimos desayunar en la guest house porque la persona que se encargaba de ello tuvo que marcharse. El problema es que es difícil encontrar cafeterías abiertas a primera hora, a partir de las 9-9:30h empieza a haber más cosas abiertas.

Ardenlee guest house is perfect for a comfortable holiday in Edinburgh. It is close to Stockbridge (one of the most beautiful areas of Edinburgh in my view) with cafe and restaurant. Not far from Dean village too. Only 15 minutes from old town, easily reached with bus (1 minute from the guest house). Keiko and his husband are absolutely lovely and friendly. The rooms are classic / old style and I loved it. It was comfortable and I had a lovely view.

Was skeptical at first, turns out to be a great choice!

The room was exactly like the pictures. Clean & spacious, price is relatively low among Edinburgh. Nice & neat area, felt safe during the entire stay as the front door could be access by guest only.

Self check-in was simple, friendly owners that were easy to reach by phone. Breakfast was great too!

Stayed in the single room with a shared bathroom. The room itself is nice enough with a comfortable bed, a sink, and a table. It looks out onto the road but road noise was never an issue. Some extra amenities like hand soap for the sink would have been appreciated though.

The shared bathroom was alright apart from the shower being very oddly designed, nothing that'll impact the shower itself but just led to a bunch of water splashing out and when other people didn't clean up, the bathroom became a bit messy.

The location isn't great if you're just walking or taking public transport. Edinburgh bus routes nearby weren't very frequent, and getting there from and going to the train station takes a bit longer than it should. The neighbourhood had an alright selection of eateries with one slightly upscale convenience store/market.

I booked last minute so I can't speak to value.

Great hotel with nice urban touches. Helpful staff that accommodated us after the posted hours. Couldn’t be more grateful after the horribly hectic day we had with multiple train cancellations. Would highly recommend and will definitely return in the future. Cheers!

L'hôte n'était pas présent pour nous accueillir alors qu'il est spécifié pas avant 14hr. Nous avons reçu un message avec le code d'accès et nous spécifiant que notre clef était disponible sur un comptoir. Chambre en sous-sol et ne correspondant pas aux photos de Booking. Pas de chauffage. Pas de rangement dans la salle de bain. Wi-fi capricieux. L'hôte est venue nous voir en soirée et nous a spécifié que le petit-déjeuner n'était pas compris (10£ par personne) alors que c'est signalé sur Booking. Propreté à revoir. Petit-déjeuner toujours le même et tout emballé sous vide, rien n'était Maison. Conseils touristique Nul. Accès aux lignes de bus à proximité. Super resto en face, mais inconnu par les hôtes (asiatique et ne mangeant pas comme nous). Toute fois les hôtes sont prévenant et serviables. Le logement ne mérite pas 3 ???? et la note de 8,4 sur Booking.

The location is great and so the attention (the manager was very friendly and attentive)! However, the bed was horrible and we had a terrible couple of nights (is super soft to a point where you will sink in and have back pains).

Stayed here for a couple of nights and it was quite a nice experience. The manager, Keiko was really friendly, helpful and quite communicative as well. The check in and check out was extremely smooth. The room was huge and had an extra bed as well. They had even provided us with all the toiletries and stuff like cotton pads and such on the dressing table, which was a nice touch.
The only issue was the bathroom was quite tiny.
But overall it was a nice stay at a reasonable price and a good location.

Je dois avouer avoir hésité sur les étoiles... 3 c'est peut-être un peu sévère... l'accueil est aimable. Le problème c'est l'absence de petit-déjeuner sur la période de février qui n'est pas annoncé (il est vanté un petit-déjeuner typiquement Écossais). Pour les chambres il y a des travaux d'entretien à réaliser (vitre cassée, chasse d'eau défectueuse ...), le service est sans plus (nous y avons passé une semaine) ... bon ... pour un prix que je trouve élevé (6 nuits pour environ 840 euros) je ne recommanderai pas.

Overall experience is good. The owner was very friendly and helpful with the process. (self check in is available which was effortless)

The location is great. You can walk to city centre in 20 min or take a bus which will take you to attractions in 15 min at a bus station just at the corner.

The building and interior design is lovely. All over the accommodation, including room and entrance was clean. However the bathroom was relatively small in compare to the room itself which was decent. Also the bed was quite noisy, you may end up wanting to not change your position in the bed while sleeping.

Overall price/Value was good.

Très bon séjour à Ardenlee ! Accueil chaleureux, chambre propre et spacieuse en revanche la salle de bain est microscopique. La douche minuscule avec un rideau de bain qui colle aux fesses ! On a connu mieux !
Sinon rien à redire très bien, calme et lits confortables.
Localisation : un peu excentré il faut marcher env. 15-20min de princes street mais chemin très agréable et quartier safe.
Je recommande.
