I can add photos of my condition after staying one night at your facility if that is what you are requesting
Second, the room was not really clean. The sheets were visibly dirty, there were clumps of hair on the pillows and sheets. Under the bed looked like it had never been cleaned. There was so much trash and nastiness going on under there. The floors in the room were sticky as well.
The website says they have a bar/restaurant, but the guy at the front desk let us know he’s worked there for a while and it’s never been open. So they don’t actually have that.
The pool doors are locked, but for good reason. The pool was so filthy and the pool deck looked like it hadn’t seen human interaction since it was built.
As we went around the back of the hotel, we noticed that there were windows that looked like rocks had been thrown through.
We couldn’t stay and we def didn’t feel comfortable leaving our dog there to go get something dog to eat. When we went back to leave and let them know we weren’t staying there, I was informed that since I used a third party website I had to contact them. I don’t use those websites for hotels. After finding my confirmation I realized it was a third party, so I went back on their website to see. And as soon as I clicked book, I got redirected to the third party site. So you don’t have an option there.
I called the hotel to talk to them about a refund and the person told me they don’t have a website! I told him I was currently on it and that’s where I pulled their number from. He argued with me about not having a website and wouldn’t listen to me. I asked to speak to a manager and was told he was in fact the manager. And then I was hung up on. 0/10 on this one. (We ended up staying at a really awesome hotel called the Origin. I would absolutely recommend that place to anyone thinking of staying the Baton Rouge area)
