They will try to overcharge you even if you get different price from the front desk. Uniform of the front desk staff is dirty. Not suitable service for this chain.

This hotel is in a great location, very convenient and easy to access. It is very well maintained and pleasing to the eye to look at all the amenities. A couple of drawbacks were the AC that ran too loud and had two settings off and on, the temperature control was not working. What was really a drawback is that the shower that was installed. Looks like it was done by someone with no attention to detail it was, it was not completely sealed. There were pencil marks from the cuts, it leaked, and there was glue or something like glue all over the walls . The other drawback was that the reception on the TV was not very good it seems as if it was an antenna instead of cable, and there was a lot of distortion. And with the AC running all night, I had to turn the volume all the way up just to be able to hear the television.

Booked a king room to only be told when arrived that the only king room were on the first floor and we're not available due to being under construction witch I didn't see any construction so paid extra for the king room to not get it had to take the 2 queen room not happy at all

From the moment I checked in, to the my 6 am check out, and great conversation with Iyanna our sweet front desk clerk (I apologize if I got your name wrong). The hospitality offered here is top notch. Clean rooms, and the breakfast did not disappoint.

I have transferred over to the Marriot brand about a year ago to see the difference between Hilton and I'm continously disappointed a bit. Now nothing went extremely wrong while staying here but it was just average. Upon checking in I was greeted nicely and presented complimentary water. However, I was placed on the highest floor and almost all the way at the end of hallway. When I made my reservation I asked for lowest floor and closest to the elevator and got the complete opposite. Room given was 2 queen instead of a queen as well. Rooms were pretty nice as you can see in my pictures. Dhow head was broke loose from wall and the shower door wss hard to open like it was jammed or misaligned. The gym was nice as well which you can see in the pictures as well. This was extremely important for me. I would stay here again if I had to but definitely not my first choice.

When I checked in, they had fresh cookies and they said they would have them the whole time we were there when I came back later last night I asked where the cookies were and the lady at the desk rudely said they won’t have them until Saturday so someone doesn’t know what Everybody else is doing. The most important part was that when we’re choosing our hotel on the Marriott app, we chose this hotel because of the location and coffee in the lobby. When I went to get coffee around 9:00 AM both canisters of coffee were empty. I asked the kitchen employee if she had more copy, and she slightly dismissed me saying she hadn’t had time to make more. I came back 30 minutes later to get some coffee there no canisters on the counter at that point and the gentleman at the front desk apologize and said no more coffee extremely frustrating and I tried not to express my irritability, but I needed coffee the bathroom in the room, dirty and nasty I didn’t even want to shower the front entrance appeared clean, but the room was nasty. The cards that carry your luggage were so rickety that you could barely push them with your luggage. I am absolutely shocked that Marriott put their name behind this hotel. It’s more like a roach motel.

Bed was uncomfortable, if you sleep on your side the springs don't feel good.
Also there's a huge cell tower in the parking lot, not the best environment for healthy sleep.

Located central to shopping, dining, and hospitals, this place is very clean and nice. The front desk attendant was able to give me a room directly by the exit, which provided easy access in and out of the hotel.
I thought I left my phone in the room after checkout, and the lady answering phones went above and beyond to find my phone.
This was a joyful experience, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Baton Rouge.
