COURTYARD ALEXANDRIA

Part of the reason I choose Marriot hotels is for their Internet service and the ability to watch Netflix on their TV with your own account. No such luck here, the Internet was terrible while I was there, and that messes up all streaming service. The TV's are terrible quality too. Also, what a hell of an upcharge for food and beverage. Who charges 7$ for a 10oz bottle of orange juice? Apparently this courtyard does.

Terrible town in general.
This is by far the best place to stay in Alexandria.
Service has never let me down.

All I can say is ewww! We checked in last night with a pretty large group. Not even 1 room is actually clean, like disinfected, sanitized or well kept. They smell moldy and damp. There’s dust and fingerprints everywhere. We went to the grocery store to buy disinfectants just to get through the night. We pulled out the sofa sleeper for one of our guests and found condiments, like bbq sauce, on the inside of the sofa. The sofa itself is beyond stained, it just needs to be thrown away. There are spatter stains all around the toilet. There are greasy fingerprints on the headboards, doors, and doorknobs. The coffee setup and refrigerator appear to never be used or dusted. I’m hoping the blankets were washed and these are only stains on them. The upside, the staff seem very nice. I don’t know what’s going on with the carpet cleaning and generic housekeeping but my guess is very little QCs are being done. I’m itchy just lying in the bed.

Just FYI if you have a noisy neighbor they will do nothing to make them quiet down because "they're not allowed to." For a Marriott, I expected better.

Room 201 had Dead Bugs in the bedroom chair, fridge smelled moldy and was leaking water, worst room I ever stayed in, I filed a complaint with the Alexandria La Health Department, Sanitary Unit, who came out the next day and inspected
