After a very long journey, we arrived at Chez Maggie. We received a very friendly welcome. Good food, lovely staff. Nice basic room. Quiet and relaxing. You can take a good walk through the gate straight onto the shore. Nice pool. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thankyou.

Μείναμε για δύο βραδιές, τα δωμάτια ήταν καθαρά, το προσωπικό ευγενικό και πρόθυμο να μας εξυπηρετήσει. Το εστιατόριο διαθέτει πλούσιο μενού, αλλά προτιμήστε τα θαλασσινά είναι ολόφρεσκα και ξέρουν να τα φτιάχνουν τέλεια. Με το βοδινό δεν έμεινα ευχαριστημένος.

Nous avions réservé 2 chambres pour 4 personnes et quand nous sommes arrivés il n'y en avait plus qu'une de libre. Ils nous ont proposé alors 2 chambres hors de prix avec un dédain non commun à Mada .

J avais versé un acompte depuis la France afin réserver pour un groupe. Retardés sur la piste détériorée, j ai averti l hôtel de notre retard 2 jours avant l arrivée prévue et au téléphone, le réceptionniste a accepté d offrir le repas. Lorsque nous nous sommes arrêtés à midi pour déjeuner, la patronne n à pas déduit le repas de l acompte versé. Seul geste " commercial" une réduction de 10%.Sachez que nos prochains groupes ne s arrêteront pas dans cet établissement trop avide et mesquin . A vouloir gagner de cette façon vous perdez honneur et crédibilité. Je déconseille fortement.

Verscholen in de stad zit deze mooie plek met bungalows van goede kwaliteit. De kamer had alles wat je maar nodig hebt, inclusief goed warm water. En was ook erg schoon. Het eten was goed en het ontbijt uitgebreid. Ook de Wifi was behoorlijk snel. Dit alles voor een hele nette prijs.
Al met al dus zeker een aanrader!

Nice place with large cottages near the beach. Friendly and helpful staff that speak both French and English. Their website doesn’t seem to open very well, at least not from Europe, and mails seems to get lost. Accepts no credit card, make sure to bring enough cash to pay your bill.

Chambres pas très propres mais acceptable, très bon service de restauration, ils ont même eu la gentillesse de préparer de la nourriture pour mon chien ????. L'emplacement est très bien choisi, on se croirait dans une petite foret tropicale et il y a une piscine.

Just wonderful! Beautiful chalet, fabulous jumbo prawns and the citrus punch will put hairs on your chest!! On a great little back lane with lots of eateries and bars.

Went here for lunch. Best prawn curry ever (not the rice, but okay) and you can sit near the dunes.
Team is friendly but forgetful (e.g. water came after a reminder after 30 minutes, juice never arrived).
They also have a travel/tourism team near the reception which could be helpful to arrange trips.

Cosy hotel on the seaside. Very nice rooms and welcoming staff. Lacking a bit concerning breakfast and the restaurant in general (small portions for a normal price to high price). You should definitely check out Bélo sur mer by boat which is not too far.

Chez Maggie's is an incredible place to stay, eat, and relax in Morondava. We stayed twice, and the experience was consistently amazing.

Bungalows are great. Good electricity and hot water availability. Beds are comfortable and with nets.

Pool is very well maintained, and no need to worry about Portuguese Man o' Wars. Small beach weightlifting area, too. :-)

The real star is the restaurant, though. Seafood romazava, soupe chinoise, grilled chicken, French fries, omelette, shrimp in sauce coco with rice were all superb. Keep the rum drinks and fresh juice coming all day. And service was fast and friendly. I want to take this place home with me.

Best place to stay in Morondava. Spacious rooms with most of them AC. Fantastic service with staff who go out of their way to make you feel at home. Great location straight at the beach and a ice cold beer at hand. You do not need more! They can also arrange multi day excursions for you via remote river expeditions to tsinghy national park. Gary and team, thank you!!

Great location, wifi, and electricity (except middle of the night) on the beach with a pool. Stayed in 3 places in Morondava and this was cheaper or the same as the others but much much better quality. Highly recommend! Their prices for the Tsingy or Tulear trips are about the same the local drivers and their 4x4s look way more maintained. I didn't go with them but wish I had lol (breakdowns)
English speaking owners and staff.

I enjoyed my stay here, the staff were phenomenal and a short walk to the beach. The rooms are a bit dated. Room cleaning is not done daily. There is no complimentary water. Lights will go off at 12pm till 5pm as standard for the whole Island. However, when I had an early morning excursion the hotel powered the generator early for me to get ready.

Accès direct à la plage. Les bungalows sont divers, en bois ou en dur, confortables. Nous sommes restés 2 nuits. Le jardin et le bassin d'eau donnent une impression de calme. La piscine est chaude et assez grande. Bon endroit pour se détendre après la longue route depuis Antsirabe.

Love this place! Everything on point and the beautiful garden with epic vegetation gives such a vibe and shade and you walk right onto the beach for sunset views. Holiday vibes garanteed! Very good food too

Nous y avons passé 2 nuits, le personnel est très accueillant et à votre disposition à la moindre demande. Les chambres sont très correctes et l'environnement superbe. Le restaurant très bien décoré est très agréable et la restauration à base de fruits de mer est excellente.
