The place is amazing! Can’t wait to go back next year. Walk to the river and town or stay and enjoy the comfort of the house- whatever you choose you’ll love it.

We absolutely loved our time at Sweet Dreams. The property was tucked away amongst the beautiful trees, the kitchen was well appointed, and the downstairs game room was a huge hit with our teenagers. We will be back!

The stay was delightful. We had wonderful weather and pretty much everything was perfect. The only issues were, not all burners would light on the grill, and the porch swing is in desperate need of tightening of ALL the screws. It’s a great touch but didn’t always feel safe that it wouldn’t collapse. Also we missed having screens on the big sliding door to the dining area, as it would have been nice to leave that door open, especially when cooking, but with no screen anymore, that was not smart due to mosquitos. The new bathroom renovation is amazing although the water pressure for the rain shower head is severely lacking. Other than these small and easily fixed items, the house is just as charming as it’s always been during our past stays. We’ll definitely be back. Hopefully others will enjoy secret garden as much as we have every time we’ve stayed.

love, Love, LOVED Memory Lane. Best house we've stayed at on the river (out of about 5 different rentals). Location is great, nice part of river. Upon arrival, house was illuminated with twinkle lights all around exterior of house. Very clean and inviting inside. Nice living area, 2 rooms upstairs and a beautiful deck with grill and hot tub (which was already hot, clean, ready to go!) downstairs rooms were shady and cooler, nice size for lots of people! Kitchen had everything, EVERYTHING as far as cooking (pots, pans, nice knives, baking sheets, bowls, etc) River access was easy, nice dock in water with all the kayaks and SUPs. No beach (this year) so just the dock, no shade (bring umbrella to tie onto post). But we loved the location. Everything worked great, beds were SUPER comfy. Only thing we wished for-- SCREENS on windows and sliding door to deck. The week we spent was very warm (90+ several days) and when you cook inside, the upstairs heats up. But no screens anywhere-- can't open kitchen window, dining area, sliding glass door to deck w/o MOSQUITOS coming in. The rooms downstairs do have them-- so thats good! And there are plenty of fans in house. This is my only 'wish' for this place... otherwise, it was PERFECT! Owner (Vince) was nice as could be, saw him a few times on the water! And the place is just lovely-- will ABSOLUTELY book again! The BEST!

the house is fairly well stocked, tho there could be more silverware. But the beds are good and the eating areas are great. But what is especially good about this place is the river access. We have been in three houses now with river access and this is definitely the best. The steps down to the river are steep (in every house) but the owner has here installed a wonderful handrail almost all the way down and when there is no handrail, he's put in a rope that works very well. I am 80 years old and while I'm in good shape for my age, I am my age and at neither of the two other houses could I really get down to the river, but I had no trouble here. It really made the vacation much better.

The Bay Tree Cottage was perfect for a 5 day getaway with my daughter, son-in-law and 2 year old grandson. The cottage just oozes rustic charm and the location is great: just across the river from Guerneville and a 15 minute walk into town. It's also just a 5 minute walk to a couple of beaches. The amenities are also great, a beautiful deck, a barbecue, a hot tub, fully stocked kitchen and cable TV. I couldn't recommend Bay Tree Cottage more highly and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Loved our cabins in the woods! This was the exact dreamy fairytale magic in the forest vacay we wanted!! The house and kitchen is well stocked, super cute textiles and furniture and the hot tub is heaven. Everything was super clean too. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend this little gem 100!

Very clean, comfortable and quiet house to enjoy. All of the amenities were working and in good condition. Beautiful Hot Tub and Wood burning stove that was easy to use added to the comfort. Being able to take our dog made the weekend AMAZING!

We stay at Bohemian Rhapsody as often as possible which unfortunately is only once or twice a year. This was our first time up in 3 years and we have missed it. The house and property hasn't changed at all, it's very comfortable, clean and well-maintained. The property is peaceful under a thick canopy of gorgeous redwoods and next to a sweet creek. Privacy at it's best! It's an easy drive to Occidental one direction and Monte Rio in the other direction and there are small and large towns all around. Wineries with gorgeous tasting rooms, great restaurants, bars, unique shops and friendly people abound. We drive 8+ hours up from OC and it's worth the long drive for a week of bliss. Must visits include the Occidental Union Hotel for dinner and their bar. Visit Dutton Goldfield for 5 star wines and a great "tasting" atmospher, or if you love cider, visit the Horse and Plow; both are in Sebastopol about 30-ish minutes drive through gorgeous country on slow windy roads (the whole area is windy roads but they're very manageable). The Pacific Ocean is not far if you love the beach (Dillon Beach with your dogs allowed off-leash is the very best!). This wonderful rental home is just a starting point to a memorable vacation in a really great area. Highly recommend!

Oh my gosh I had the most amazing time at Lollipop. The water access was so great and we were able to canoe to a nearby beach for amazing swimming and kayak down the river with ducks. The hot tub was fantastic and the outdoor shower was so magical! It was the perfect size for 2 people and dog for a simple getaway with incredible views on the river with a big deck great for grilling, relaxing, and napping outside. I never wanted this trip to end!

Tree Top Log Cabin is such a gem! We love how rustic yet well appointed this cabin is, as well as clean and centrally located. We will certainly stay here again.

House is musty, had to use scented candles all the time. Mice droppings everywhere, couldn't use the sofabed because of it. Was told an exterminator was coming but never saw one. Dust and cobwebs throughout. If you have allergies, don't go here. The best thing about it is the location and yard.

This is a somewhat remote cabin at the very end of a private road, at the top of a hill. The view is amazing, but the cabin is pretty basic (but comfortable). Relaxing set up, basic kitchen, beds kind of hard - definitely a "well loved" cabin. It is a bit of a trek to get to town due to the windy, one lane private road up the hill - but the exceptional privacy is worth it if that's your thing.

Our whole family LOVED this place! The cottages were perfect, and provided a bit of seperation and privacy. We enjoyed sitting outside to have meals, and relax around the pool. The kitchen is well appointed, we enjoyed preparing meals in it. The Dutch front door was our favorite!
