I had the unfortunate experience of staying at Konokono Villa recently, and it was nothing short of disappointing. Upon our arrival, there was no one to welcome us, leaving us feeling abandoned and unwelcome. The lack of a warm reception set the tone for what turned out to be a truly unpleasant stay.

The staff at Konokono Villa were not just indifferent; they were downright rude. Their demeanor made any attempt to seek assistance or information an exercise in frustration. It's disheartening when you're treated with such disregard during your stay at what is supposed to be a hospitality establishment.

Adding to the dismal experience was the shocking revelation that they do not serve soft drinks or even juice. In an age where basic amenities are expected, this was a blatant failure on their part. To make matters worse, when we mentioned that we would bring our own soft drinks, they had the audacity to inform us that they would charge us for the privilege of bringing our beverages. It's absurd to think that a guest would be penalized for trying to compensate for the lack of a basic service.

In essence, our stay at Konokono Villa was marred by a complete absence of hospitality, from the initial welcome to the discourteous staff and the refusal to provide even the most basic beverages. I would strongly caution anyone considering this establishment to think twice and explore alternatives that value their guests' comfort and satisfaction. It's a regrettable experience that I would not wish upon anyone seeking a pleasant and accommodating stay.
The least, they don't even deserve any review.

Vraiment très très mal passé mon séjour dans le kono-kono, service désagréable pas de manière de parlé aux cilent manque d'expérience dans le service de la restauration la nourriture vraiment pa bon Chambre femme de ménage vien nettoyé toules jour ils dis que apre 2 jour ils change le drap mais c'était parile ils ne pas change pas la propreté de la chambre 0/10 la télé ne marche pas les pris ne marche pas le frigo et ausi pa d'eau chaude ahh super déçu je vais pas remet les pieds laba franchement pour une permiere fois à rodrigue très très déçu par cette auberge.

Electricity cut for 2 hours eventually was repaired
No wifi working as per staff router problem and was advised buy your own data package...????
Minibar fridge was just avaible in some room when was asked they said dont have ( 34° hot summer)

Not recommended to anyone!!

Nice staff and also very kind. Had been there for 4 days but there are many shortcomings that need to be taken into considerations;
(1) there was no hot water in the bathroom, had informed the staff 2 times but still no action was taken;
(2) regarding food there was no great variety. Had expected there would be some local food combination or even a buffet but was disappointed. Regarding breakfast also, i think they were cutting costs. If you are late for breakfast, you may have only bread and butter;
(3) had hoped for some entertainment during our stay but was disappointed again;
(4) there was no tv connection in our room

Our experience first two days was ok, good hospitality from people there, but afterwards some staff approach to us became rude very rude. This place needs to train some of their staff to behave with clients. We doesn't wanted to be treated like kings but manners when communicating would help a lot. The point is not to recommend or not but the hotel badly needs to review training.

Rooms are OK but they need to change their mattress and pullow, not comfortable to sleep.
No swimming towels available there.
Restaurant & bar are closed as from 20h30, no animation.
Limited food option, specially for the breakfast.
Some employees has been very rude, no customer service.
The good point is the hotel location.

Très bon poisson une soirée avec des danseurs locaux au taqué une ambiance de folie

En janvier, nous y avons passé une semaine.
Le personnel est agréable. Le cadre est sympathique.
Malheureusement le grand hic est la demi-pension :
petit déjeuner pas très appétissant,
dîner tout simplement dégueulasse.

Nous en venons, accueil chaleureux, ambiance familiale, très propre, calme, nous avons passé un très agréable séjour, bonne table et petit déjeuner copieux...que demander de plus?!
