Avis THE WESTIN TURTLE BAY RESORT & SPA Balaclava

I just came back from mauritius a couple of days ago as part of our 5year marriage anniversary and me, my husband and child stayed at the Westin Turtle Bay resort and I can tell you we were not disappointed. Its an amazing beautiful resort with extremely friendly, helpful staff constantly doing their best to accommodate you. They upgraded our heavenly family junior suite to the amazing beachfront suite which they said is the best room to have in the hotel and they weren't wrong! It's such a huge room with 2 living/bedrooms,2 bathrooms and the his and hers sinks with plenty of space for whatever you need throughout the room and the highlight of the room is the fact that it's got a direct access to the beach right from your double open view doors so you can walk out from your room and right outside your front outdoor space is the stunning beach and sea!
All the restaurants in the resort were brilliant with amazing food, impeccable aesthetics and bursts of flavours with the food, the Kangan restaurant, Mystique and Fusion to name a few. Also the buffet in Seasonal tastes which is available for breakfast and dinner was also brilliant with a really good variety of foods served on both meal times. Lastly I'd like to mention the staff, I mentioned earlier the staff were really good but I'd like to just touch on that again as the staff truly were another 1 of the highlights of the resort and really did their best to make us feel comfortable and have the best stay for them 8days in mauritious and westin. At the front Shivam really helped us out a lot whether it was with excursions we were booking to help us find the best thing for us or just little bits throughout our stay, he really did his best to make sure we were happy ???? another couple of staff I'd like to mention is Yassin and Sutish they were also really good to us especially to my little child they used to always interact with him, feed fishes with him, randomly take him on buggy rides as he used to love going on them and basically keep him occupied as did all the staff whenever they seen him. I remember yassin saying my son made their job all the better and more joyous for them and my son also really gained a fondness for them too! Also shoutout to kamini the cleaner she did a really good job in keeping our room clean and checking if we needed anything further, she used to clean the room twice a day but never disturbed us in the process, it was always when we were out and she even made a little towel elephant to hope we're having a good stay so great job to her. 1 more thing I'd like to mention is the kids club is amazing, it's so brilliant. They have activities going on throughout the day, everyday and there's babysitters there available if you'd like your child to have 1 at any point. My son loved the kids club whenever he went he loved to play and all the staff took really good care of him there as well and he just had lots of fun and did some activities too like cookie baking.
So to end my review it was an amazing experience mauritius is stunning, Westin Turtle Bay resort is a truly 5 star experience with beautiful views and the people are the best, such lovely, friendly people. Thankyou to all the staff at the resort we really appreciate all your effort and for making our anniversary really special, all the little touches they helped with and the joy they gave us and my baby boy. I hope we can comeback another time to stay here insha'allah and back to mauritius! I recommend everybody to come stay here and experience this amazing resort yourself!

Hotel incroyable
Un cadre de reve tout est fait pour y rester :) activités cours,plage, spa, plusieurs restaurant 2 grandes piscines
Les chambres sont magnifiques
Le service est bien malgré quelques cafouillage niveau organisation
Par contre certaines boissons commander au season ne correspondait pas a la carte assez étrange
La nourriture est delicieuse, le buffet un choix enorme
En revanche les mauriciens ont la main sur le coeur vraiment
Je me rappelerai surtout d’annabelle a la sécurité qui est solaire et d’une gentillesse !
Nous n’avons pas pu lui dire aurevoir mais nous la remercions de son sourire lumineux
Je recommande vraiment cette hotel
Et pour ceux qui se plaignent de la plage avec des rochers c’est une des plages ou on a vu le plus de poissons donc mettez les chaussures faites quelque pas et il y’a aussi une plage de sable et d’autres pas loin du tout comme balaclava. Au alentour que des ressorts pas de commerce a moins de 10 min.

L'hôtel est magnifique, le petit coin de paradis.
La chambre somptueuse vue mer époustouflante.
Les restaurants au top, surtout le Mystique délicieux, personnels aux petits soins.
Un grand merci au sommelier, à Kevin le manager du mystique souriant et très sympathique, et surtout à Atee qui s'est occupé de nous pendant les repas, une personne souriante et très intéressante tout en discrétion. MERCI on reviendra ???? avec plaisir.

Un immense merci à toute l’équipe du Westin pour ce merveilleux séjour !
Je tiens à adresser une attention particulière à Kevin, le responsable du restaurant Mystic, qui m’a chaleureusement accompagné dans le cadre de ma réservation de l’Ocean Vista pour ma demande en fiançailles. Nous avons véritablement apprécié l’hôtel, la qualité du service et la bienveillance de chaque membre du personnel.
Nous recommandons vivement à tous de venir passer un séjour inoubliable au Westin !

Nous avons passé 10 jours au Westin Turtle Bay. L'hotel est propre et grand, bien réparti, tout le monde ne se retrouve pas au même endroit. Plusieurs restaurants dans l'hotel.
Le service est au petit soin, très à l'écoute. Ils font tout pour que le client se sente bien, du personnel de ménage aux responsables en passant par les serveurs.
Belles plages de sable, mais coraux dans l'eau à certains endroits (prévoir des chaussures de mer ;) )

Nice location and quiet place

Worse customer service at the reception ever. They hang up the phone when they don't know what to answer regarding a restaurant booking, people at the reception/reservation speak in a very rude, arrogant way! Not recommended at all!

فندق ممل... لايوجد تنوع في المطاعم... والقطط والكلاب يتجولون في انحاء المطعم والشاطئ...منظر مشمئز واحساس مزعج... تعاملهم يفتقر للعالمية... الخدمة جدا عادية.... الحشرات والوزغ منتشرين في الغرف وفي المنتجع وهذا جدا شعور مزعج.

Fantastic resort. The staff were kind and very helpful every time. Special thanks to Youvi at the Bech bar, Seam at the main bar and Ashna all very helpful. Thank you for making our holiday the best it could be.

As a side note excursions are included which is a nice touch.

**Un séjour inoubliable au Westin Turtle Bay Resort & Spa !**

Mon séjour au Westin Turtle Bay a été tout simplement exceptionnel. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par un personnel attentionné et souriant. L'atmosphère de l'hôtel, avec ses jardins tropicaux luxuriants et sa vue imprenable sur l'océan, est apaisante et élégante.

La chambre était spacieuse, moderne et très bien équipée, avec un lit incroyablement confortable (typique des hôtels Westin) et une salle de bain luxueuse. Nous avions une vue magnifique sur la baie, ce qui rendait chaque matin encore plus spécial.

Le service est impeccable, avec une équipe toujours à l'écoute et prête à rendre le séjour aussi agréable que possible. Les restaurants de l'hôtel sont d'une grande qualité, avec une mention spéciale pour le petit-déjeuner buffet, varié et délicieux, et pour les plats locaux proposés dans les différents restaurants.

Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié les installations du resort : la plage privée est superbe, les piscines sont magnifiques et bien entretenues, et le spa est un véritable havre de paix où se détendre après une journée au soleil.

Un autre point fort : les activités proposées, comme le snorkeling, le kayak et les excursions, qui permettent de profiter pleinement des merveilles de la côte.

En résumé, le Westin Turtle Bay a dépassé nos attentes à tous les niveaux. C'est un endroit parfait pour se détendre et se ressourcer tout en profitant d'un cadre paradisiaque. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter !

Hôtel magnifique et de qualité. Le lieu est apaisant et calme. Les deux piscines sont agréables, le personnel est d’une très grande gentillesse et disponible.

J'ai été surprise qu'un hôtel de ce "standing" n'accorde aucune importance à la situation des chiens errants en quête de nourriture et présents dans l'hôtel. Les serveurs les faisaient courir alors qu'ils avaient faims, les côtes apparentes ! Un autre loulou tout maigre avec la patte cassée errait seul cherchant vainement à manger, tout le monde s'en fiche dans cet hôtel. J'ai envoyé un mail à la direction afin de sensibiliser sur la situation de ces pauvres loulous, aucun retour ! C'est dire l'importance accordée à ces pauvres coeurs ! Pourquoi ne pas les nourrir avec toute cette nourriture dont vous disposez ? Pourquoi fermer les yeux, alors qu'ils sont en souffrance ? Comment pouvez-vous imposer cette situation à des clients de l'hôtel qui éprouvent de la compassion et de l'amour pour les animaux ? Cela est inadmissible à mon sens et bien malheureux de votre part ! Je ne remettrais plus jamais les pieds chez vous ce la est certain !

Un séjour exceptionnel !
Même si j’étais sur l’île pour un déplacement professionnel de 15 jours, j’ai passé un séjour fantastique au sein du Westin Turtle Bay.
L’hôtel est paradisiaque avec différentes piscines et des plages très agréables.
Les chambres sont spacieuses, confortable et très bien équipée.
Le plus de cet hôtel est véritablement le personnel toujours disponible, flexible et très chaleureux. Les restaurants sont aussi délicieux avec mention spéciale pour l’indien.
Est-ce que j’y retournerai ? Aucun doute !

We had the pleasure of staying at The Westin Turtle Bay Resort and Spa Mauritius from 08.11.23 to 20.11.23.

The hotel is in a beautiful location right on the beach. The view of the sea and the white sandy beach was breathtaking. The whole resort was very well maintained.

The customer service at the hotel was excellent. The staff was always friendly, helpful and accommodating. They really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome from day one.

The rooms at the resort were comfortable and clean. Beds and amenities 1A.

The food was delicious. There was a wide variety of food and the quality was excellent. I was particularly impressed with the breakfast buffet as well as dinner which offered a variety of options. All the staff were always attentive and friendly. Thank you for the little surprises...

Overall, we had a fantastic stay at The Westin Turtle Bay Resort and Spa Mauritius. The location, service, rooms and food were all first class. We can definitely recommend this resort!

Schöne Hotelanlage, Frühstücksbuffet und Nachtessenbuffert sehr fein und abwechslungsreich.
Wer Wert auf einen Traumstrand legt, wird hier wohl enttäuscht. Einstieg ins Meer durch Steine etwas schwierig.
Je nach Zimmer etwas ringhörig.
Auschecken dauert zu lange, Personal nicht alle gleich freundlich und kompetent.

Very nice hotel and my room has a great view. The beach is also very nice.

The room cleaning lady, Varousha, was very sweet and even took this picture for me.

The breakfast was good, I especially liked the fruit of the day themed items and the food from Kangan was nice too.

Séjour exceptionnel au Westin Turtle Bay dans un cadre idyllique et une ambiance luxueuse et détendue. L’hôtel est beau et bien pensé, très bien entretenu, la végétation magnifique, la restauration ultra qualitative. Les mauriciens sont connus pour leur sens de l’accueil, les équipes du Westin le font vivre avec passion. Nous avions choisi cet hôtel pour notre voyage de Noce.
Nous n avais pas été déçus !!!
L hôtel est incroyablement brau, propre.
Leur personnel un Amour !!! Ils sont adorable que ce soit en cuisine, à la réception, au bar tout le personnel est serviable souriant accueillant !!!
Bravo à toute cette grande famille hôtelière....
Ils nous ont également gâtés en faisant de petits gestes à l encontre de notre lune de miel... ce fut un séjour génial et inoubliable, nous avons rencontrés de belles personnes comme Mehfooza, Artee, Kévin, Pamela, Vicki...????????????????

It is located in Balcalava. The entire area has many similar luxury resorts. Our stay at Westin Turtle bay was great. They have private beach and some water activities. The service is great. The rooms were huge and very comfortable and clean. The beach facing view of the room was great. The food was tasty. I found really good Indian food here. I stayed in two places one in Westin and in some other hotel where I couldn't find Indian food. The breakfast was the best in Westin. I had celebrated my husband's birthday here and they gave a nice free cake. I had enjoyed my stay at Westin. Only thing is it is bit of isolated area but that too because only luxury resorts are there in this area. It is in between Port Louis and Grand Bay.

Quand je viens en visite à Maurice, je séjourne toujours dans ce petit bout de Paradis situé au Nord de l'île, le Westin Turtle Bay est réellement un hôtel splendide et reposant, il surplombe de tout son long une plage idyllique qui a gardé la splendeur naturelle et sauvage de Maurice, loin des plages touristiques où l'on peut se baigner et faire de la plongée comme ci l'océan Indien nous appartenait.

Les chambres spacieuses et décorées avec soins sont parmi les plus belles chambres d'hôtels que j'ai pu côtoyer, les thérapeutes du Spa sont formés avec talent, les 5 restaurants tous différents sont tout aussi spectaculaires, de la cuisine indienne, asiatique jusqu'aux saveurs du monde, le choix est varié mais surtout élaboré par des chefs reconnus et spécialisés dans les cuisines qu'ils représentent.
L'hôtel est doté de deux piscines, l'une à débordement qui est un havre de quiétude et de relaxation réservée aux adultes et une deuxième piscine immense composée de plusieurs paliers, toute deux situées face à l'océan, elles sont le point fort du Westin Turtle Bay.

Se détendre en faisant une partie de billard, en jouant au tennis, en buvant un verre dans l'un des bars de l'hôtel ou encore en faisant de l'exercice à la salle de sport où l'on peut se faire accompagner par l'un des deux coach sportif présent est un plaisir qui apporte toujours plus de bien être au vacance.
D'ailleurs tout le personnel de l'hôtel est superbe, la gentillesse des Mauriciens est connue et chacuns des membres de l'équipe en est l'ambassadeur, toujours souriant et avenant, plein de petites attentions quotidiennes pour chaque client, tous à l'écoute de nos besoins et présent pour nous orienter lors de chacune de nos sorties en dehors de l'hôtel.

Je tiens tout particulièrement à remercier Seam, responsable à l'hôtel, qui nous a accueilli avec le plus grand soin et qui a su s'occuper de nous en nous offrant plusieurs attentions touchantes comme des petits cadeaux, une décoration surprise dans notre chambre et autres faveurs très appréciées, il est ouvert à toutes suggestions et soucieux du moindre détail pour toujours nous satisfaire, il est je pense le cœur du Westin Turtle Bay.

Séjourner ici est la certitude de vivre des moments inoubliables

Si vous venez à l'île Maurice, arrêtez-vous à l'hôtel Westin Turtle Bay situé au bord de l'océan Indien qui vous donnera un accès direct à une plage magnifique qui a gardé son état sauvage comme dans un petit paradis en complément de deux très belles piscines dont l'une réservée exclusivement aux adultes pour un moment de détente.

Vous pourrez manger Indien au restaurant Kangan, Japonais au restaurant Fusion avec un teppanyaki orchestré devant vous, savourez une cuisine aux notes asiatiques au restaurant Mystique, découvrir les saveurs du monde au restaurant Seasonal ou encore un moment convivial au restaurant Beach Grill.

Le personnel que le Westin Turtle Bay arbore est à la hauteur de ses 5*, du service de chambre discret aux serveurs attentionnés, des coachs sportifs où des animateurs comme Winsley qui sont toujours aussi souriants et gentils, de la douceur des masseuses du Spa pour de vrais moments de relaxations jusqu'aux personnels de la conciergerie toujours présent pour satisfaire tout vos besoins. L'entièreté de l'équipe de l'hôtel est d'une gentillesse et d'un professionnalisme digne de la réputation de l'île Maurice.

Wow! What an incredible hotel, this was undoubtedly the best hotel I have ever stayed in. We were here for our honeymoon and the staff went above and beyond to make it special, from swans and rose petals on the bed to special tables at dinner time and vouchers for spa treatments they made us feel so special.

The rooms were large and stunning and kept so clean, our room was beachfront and quite simply breathtaking. Everywhere in the hotel is simply beautiful and so clean.

You are treated like royalty from the moment you arrive and nothing is ever too much trouble. The food is quite simply amazing and the restaurant staff can not do enough for you, especially Kevin who made us feel so so welcome and Ivan for his simply amazing cocktails.

The location of the hotel is perfect for the weather as where other parts of the island may be raining, in most cases we had sunshine and only occasional showers. The sunsets were epic every evening and we had the most amazing holiday here. From swimming with dolphins and turtles to seeing sperm whales and daily snorkelling trips. We were so sad to leave. Thank you to the whole team at Westin!

This was such a wonderful stay - I haven't felt that comfortable with any hotel in a long time! It started with a warm welcome at the beginning and it continued like that every day. In the mornings with Angelle, Pamela, Rajeev and Soonita at breakfast, at the spa with Preeti and Preet, Fakason at the reception, at dinner with Ram and Aartee and at the bar with Vicky. Additionally, Seam always made sure that everything was fine. Of course the hotel itself is also amazing: stylish rooms and restaurants, excellent food and a great choice of activities during the day and in the evenings. All in all, we can just say THANK YOU for such a great experience and we highly appreciate the effort all the employees put into making their guests happy!

It's a lifetime experience when you visit Mauritius and stay with Westin Turtle Bay. Some kind of wellness resort and spa.. excellent Ambience at night.

Wir haben zwei traumhafte Wochen Anfang September im Westin auf Mauritius verbracht.

Lage:
Dadurch, dass sich das Hotel im Nordwesten von Mauritius befindet, hatten wir fast keinen Regen und tagsüber Temperaturen von 27 bis 30 Grad (gefühlt war es fast immer angenehm warm, aber nie zu heiß).
Fußläufig lässt sich vom Hotel aus, abgesehen vom Strand, eigentlich nichts erreichen. Um etwas von Mauritius zu sehen, haben wir per Taxi drei Tagestouren gemacht. Die vom Hotel angebotenen Preise für Taxitouren sind etwas teurer, so dass es sich hier lohnen kann, online eine Tour bei einem Taxiunternehmen zu buchen.
Direkt angrenzend an das Hotel gibt es einen wunderschönen öffentlichen Sandstrand. Hier lässt es sich super baden gehen, ohne ständig auf Seeigel achten zu müssen.

Service
Dem Personal des Hotels können wir nur ein großes Dankeschön aussprechen. Die Angestellten (leider sind es zu viele, um alle beim Namen zu nennen), ob Zimmerservice (Yogesh und Devianee), Rezeption, Customer Relations (Berty (spricht fließend Deutsch)) oder Restaurant (Artee, Ritul und Facakason) machen einfach einen großartigen Job. Sie sind durchweg super freundlich, zuvorkommend und haben Spaß an der Arbeit.

Zimmer
Wir hatten ein sehr schönes und geräumiges Zimmer im Erdgeschoss. Das Zimmer war in einem guten Zustand und sehr sauber.

Hotelanlage
Die Hotelanlage ist wunderschön und top gepflegt. Da es über die gesamte Anlage verteilt Strandliegen gibt, gab es zum einen nie ein Problem eine freie Liege zu finden und zum anderen gab es genügend Platz zwischen den Liegen, so dass man nicht dicht an dicht lag.
Außerdem bietet das Hotel kostenlose Wassersportaktivitäten wie Stand-Up-Paddling, Schnorcheln oder Kajak fahren an.
