One of the most abysmal hotel stays I have ever had. Basically this hotel was made in the 1800svor even before and never renovated since. The furniture is old, the rooms and bathroom fittings, appliances, doors are all old and outdated. However, the prices are extremely high due to the brand name of double tree attached to it. It is a relatively small hotel with a few rooms hence almost all rooms are ocean facing, probably the only good thing about this hotel. Hotel had NO manager employed to address our concerns. Staff is rude. Even though we had prepaid for our meals, food options weren't available (even water wasn't provided during dinner). We upgraded to the executive room for a better experience but that seemed to add on to the misery. The so called private jacuzzi didn't work and water leaked all over the floor. We were so disappointed with the stay that stayed for 2 days out of our 4 day stay in Mahe and changed our hotel for the other 2 days even though our room was prebooked and booking was not refundable

DoubleTree by Hilton Seychelles gave us an experience that's right out of the fairytale book. Breathtaking views, friendly staff, mouthwatering food and memories that will be with us for a lifetime. I also want to give special thanks to Chef Abhishek who treated us with delicious parathas during our stay there. Best honeymoon experience ever.

Lage: direkt am Anse Forbans, d.h.am nördlichen Teilstück, durch Felsen getrennt (leicht zu crossen) vom südlichen unbebauten Teilstück. An der Strasse direkt gegenüber Minimarket und Takeaway.
Room: war 2 Nächte in 204, fantastischer Meerblick, Balkon mit Liege, Stuhl, Tisch. Top. Das war besonders während eines komplett verregneten Tages sehr von Vorteil. Geräumiges Zimmer, Klasse Bad. Klimaanlage etwas nervig, da sie nur funktioniert hat, wenn die Balkontür GENAU fixiert war. Ich reise viel in den Tropen, so etwas hatte ich noch nie. Ohne Klimaanlage (nur mit Ventilator) ging es nicht, das Zimmer war binnen 10 Minuten komplett feucht. Auch sowas hatte ich noch nie, however, das Zimmer war sehr gut.

Frühstück: Buffett, sehr gut für Seychelles-Verhältnisse.
Bar: indiskutabel hohe Preise, NO GO, ich verstehe es einfach nicht, warum es SO teuer sein muss.
Service: es gab Probleme mit meiner Zimmertür, das war sehr nervig, weil es unterm Strich 2 Stunden gedauert hat, am Ende hat es das Technik Team aber sehr charmant gelöst.
Fazit: ich hatte einen guten Aufenthalt, etwas vermiest durch einen komplett verregneten Tag. Für das Hotel spricht ganz klar die direkte Strandlage, es ist quasi ein Privatstrand. Ausserdem ist das Hotel relativ klein. Auch ein Vorteil. Die Anlage ist älter, hier und da sind Renovierungen nötig.

Wir waren nur für einige Stunden im Rahmen eines Ausfluges hier, zum Mittagessen mit Badeaufenthalt.
Baden konnten wir leider nur im kleinen Pool, da gerade Ebbe war. Der Strand war ganz okay.
Das Mittagessen war minderwertig.
Für 2 kleine Bier haben wir 19 Euro bezahlt.

This hotel is a disaster with a new disappointment waiting for you every day. We arrived into our room and instantly felt it was extremely warm, told reception about it, told the air conditioning would be fixed, next day extremely warm again (outside 31c, inside was warmer) spent 4 days of this back and forth game of fixing but never getting fixed until we demanded a room change, basically no sleep for 4 days. The second room had a perfectly working air con and we were happy enough at that point. The hotel is reasonably kept but aging and in desperate need of renovation and tidying up, it just looks shabby everywhere. The food is ok but overall quite bland, we never thought anything tasted especially good, just edible. The prices for anything off the menus are outrageous, drinks cost between 15-30 euro per drink, a simple lunch meal will set you back 30-50 euro, it's crazy. We were forced to partake in the mandatory Christmas and new years "gala" dinner which was basically a bit better buffet for an extra cost of 140 euro per person per event even though we had already paid for half board, another letdown. The staff are friendly enough and do their best I guess, but often you feel they know about all the issues and are annoyed when you point them out (I overheard the air con issue multiple times). The location is alright to get around if you have a rental car but the beach at the hotel is borderline unusable, it's flooded with seaweed on the beach, and not maintained or tidied and full of seaweed and in the water as well. Overall I wouldn't recommend staying here, it's extremely expensive and in my view is a 3 star hotel at best, all in all we were quite disappointed with our holiday and from chatting with other hotel guests, they felt the same. Without the air con issues I'd have given 3/5 as it's a passable average hotel, but with the issues it's 2/5 and I don't give out bad reviews lightly.

Hôtel catastrophique . Nous venons d’arriver pour une semaine et c’est la déception totale . La plage privée est sale , le personnel de l’hôtel plus que jeune qui est incapable de renseigner . Ils nous on fait attendre plus d’une heure car ils ne trouvaient pas la chambre ….
Personne inapte à nous proposer des excursions . Les chambres sont grandes mais vraiment peu de choses positives pour un 4 étoiles . Tout est vieilli , les salles sont vraiment sales ( peut être dû au nouvel an ) et le buffet du dîner de ce soir une catastrophe . A fuir …..
Nous avons encore 5 jours de galère ….
Suite , le lendemain nous sommes au restaurant de l’hôtel , où la carte a l’air pas trop mal … 1h45 d’attente pour le premier plat …..

Atmosphärenloses Hotel hoch 3. Preis/Leistung stehen in keinem Verhältnis. Das Personal ist zwar bemüht, aber mehr leider auch nicht. Überall steht benutztes Geschirr rum, die Strandmöbel sind alt und abgehalftert. Etwas gutes bleibt doch noch zu sagen…. die Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig. Als Durchgangshotel maximal geeignet. Schade!

It was a great experience to be at Double Tree. The rooms were neat and spacious with a nice sea view. Giving rating for service specially for the chef. Mr. Abhishek, who was helping us with Indian food from day one, especially for the baby! We also enjoyed the swimming pool and the 360 view.

Wir waren Ende November / Anfang Dezember für 2 Wochen auf Praslin, La Dique und auf Mahe. Auf Mahe wohnten wir im DoubleTrre / Hilton. Das Personal ist hier sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und sehr gut organisiert.
Wir hatten überall Halbpension gebucht. Beim Essen hat man eine wirklich große Auswahl, auch die Qualität der Speisen war bestens!
Unser Zimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet. Besonders gefiel uns die Doppelliege am großräumigen Balkon mit Meerblick. Besonders bei nicht so guten Wetter lies es sicher hier sehr gut aushalten.

Schönes Hotel in sehr guter Lage im Südosten von Mahé. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und sauber und bot einen tollen Ausblick direkt aufs Meer.

Tolles und äußerst freundliches Personal. Auch sehr aufmerksam und immer hilfsbereit.

Der Strand ist zwar sehr schmal, dafür aber mit herrlichem Wellengang. Macht viel Spaß. Unbedingt zu empfehlen sind aber Badeschuhe!

Kritikpunkte:
- bei einem Hotel am Meer wäre eine Trockenmöglichkeit für Badekleidung und Handtücher auf dem Zimmer wünschenswert
- das Restaurant ist leider sehr teuer. 2x Buffet, 2 Bier (Pint) und eine Flasche Wasser: 150€. Besonders die 200 SCR für ein Bier sind komplett überzogen. Dafür bekommt man ja sogar auf dem Oktoberfest eine Maß Bier!

Alles Top. Das Frühstück war leider etwas langweilig und immer das gleiche, aber das wurde mit tollem Service und unglaublicher Herzlichkeit wieder wett gemacht.

The facility is long due for renovation, overall things seem old , prices for alcohol are 5-6 times the shop prices which is not understandable
Katrina greeted us politely and professionally at the counter and made thing quick and easy
Kitchen staff is pleasant
We came for day use and had lunch there , the portions are huge and the food was delicious.
Seemed like there was not sufficient amount of sunbeds so would advise to consider the capacity and warn people in advance
Overall not bad , just a little old

Hôtel confortable, taille humaine, propre, personnels gentils. Petit déjeuner très copieux et restaurant très bon.

Hôtel à taille humaine (21 chambres) idéalement situé dans le sud de l'île de Mahé. La gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel a réellement été un plaisir (merci plus particulièrement à Amanuel et Toleta). La restauration est de très bonne qualité et le buffet du soir change chaque jour avec des thématiques. La piscine qui surplombe la mer et les chambres spacieuses avec la vue mer, en font une très très bonne adresse. Si nous sommes de nouveau de passage aux Seychelles, nous reviendront !

Wir waren nur auf der Durchreise kurz im Hotel und haben uns das Hotel von den Angestellten zeigen lassen. Insgesamt hat uns das Hotel nicht besonders gefallen. Der Aussenbereich wirkte abgenutzt, der Strand ist sehr grobkörnig, bei Ebbe ist das schwimmen nur eingeschränkt möglich, Bar und Restaurant hatte geschlossen, direkt hinter dem Hotel ist die Hauptstraße. Da gibt es wirklich schönere Ecken und kleine Hotels auf Mahé.

I had a great stay at this place. The rooms were amazing with breathtaking views. The staffs were too supportive and friendly. I would thank Chef Abhisek who went a long way in ensuring we get some best indian food from the Kichen. Will visit again

- obsługa jest jedną z najlepszych jakich doświadczyłem (zdecydowanie lepsza niż w Hilton Labriz )
- bardzo dobra kuchnia
- jest wspaniały widok na ocen
- bardzo dobra lokalizacja
minusem są nieodnowione pokoje, ale jeśli znów przyjadę na Seszele to wybiorę ten hotel

El hotel es lindo pero no vale lo que cuesta. Para el precio debería ofrecer más.
Lo mejor de todo son las vistas al mar de las habitaciones, cómodas con buen equipamiento.
Algo muy bueno es que si bien no es la mejor playa o la ubicación más céntrica hace que tengas mucha privacidad y puedas desconectarte y disfrutar. Al frente hay un mercadito (más caro que otras zonas, pero sirve)

Das Hilton Hotel war das letzte Hotel auf unserer Reise mitte September und genau das richtige zum Abschluss.Sehr ruhig gelegenes Hotel zum erholen und entspannen.Schöner infinity Pool,eigener zugang zum Strand.Alles war sehr sauber,das Essen war sehr gut und wird in einer offenen Küche zubereitet, jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt.Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend ob an der Anmeldung oder beim Essen wobei wir uns vor allem bei Herrn Tolera Walter für seine Aufmerksamkeit und freundliche Art bedanken möchten.Aber auch dem restlichen Personal ein großes Dankeschön.

Wunderschöne Lage mit tollen Service der Mitarbeiter, besonders Vivian F & B Manager. Vielen Dank für den allerbesten Service.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel,wir fühlten uns sehr wohl dort

Personnel formidable et serviable. Le personnel de la réception (Rania je crois) nous a aidés à réserver une visite à la dernière minute ! Le personnel de nettoyage des chambres (Dheivanai) a fait un travail fantastique tous les jours de notre séjour de 8 jours. La nourriture au double arbre était également délicieuse. Emmanuel était très attentif et s'est souvenu de notre commande de café pour le préparer exactement comme nous le souhaitions chaque matin !
L'hôtel en lui-même est plutôt agréable et bien situé. Juste un petit problème, nous avons remarqué qu'un certain nombre de voyagistes n'offraient pas de prise en charge gratuite depuis le sud de Mahé (où se trouve cet arbre double).

La douche n'est pas propre, des signes de
moisissure, le débit d'eau dans la douche est
très faible. Trouvez un meilleur endroit pour rester...

Très agréable.

Gardé très propre. Le personnel est extrêmement accueillant et arrangeant, plage de sable propre, très bonne nourriture, piscine à débordement avec emplacement direct sur la plage.

Nous avons passé nos vacances dans cet hôtel et avons été très satisfaits. Tout ce que vous attendez d’un hôtel de niveau Hilton sera ici. Personnel amical et prêt à répondre à toute question concernant l'hébergement et les services. Petits déjeuners délicieux et assez variés. Excellente piscine, plage équipée et agréable. Nous avons apprécié la soirée de cuisine créole. Nous aimerions surtout mentionner le personnel. Rebia de la réception nous a enregistrés très rapidement et nous a accompagnés lors de l'enregistrement, elle était toujours prête à nous aider. Et nous aimerions également mentionner Amanuel du restaurant. Très sympathique et serviable. Les gars, grâce à des gens comme vous, nous voulons retourner à l'hôtel. Vous êtes géniaux les gars ! Merci! Nous voulons également mentionner Katsiaryna ! Elle nous a beaucoup aidé à nous orienter dans les services de l'hôtel, c'était facile avec elle ! Merci!

Nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire. Nous n'avons pas les mots pour décrire l'établissement. Il est incroyable, le personnel est à l'écoute des clients. Je vous conseille d'y aller les yeux fermés.
Nous ne regrettons vraiment pas notre choix, c'est le meilleur hôtel au monde ! Vous ne serez pas déçus, foncez et profitez.
La piscine à débordement est chaude et juste incroyable avec vue sur océan ! Certaines chambres ont même des jacuzzi.
Vous êtes accueillis avec une boisson rafraîchissante, les chambres sont sont spatieuses et magnifiques.
Si vous souhaitez faire une demande en mariage, l'hotel peut également vous aider afin de vivre un moment inoubliable.
Les decorations effectuées chaque jour dans la chambre après le ménage sont somptueuses !

Tout simplement fantastique !!! Nos attentes ont été totalement dépassées. En tant que membre Diamond, nous avons eu un excellent surclassement avec un bain à remous sur notre propre balcon.
Ambiance agréable, tout est soigné et propre, très bon petit déjeuner et personnel de service extrêmement sympathique.
Je voudrais souligner le personnel de la réception avec Rebia, Katsiarya et Amir et ma préférée, Vivian du personnel du petit-déjeuner.
